fatigue has more than settled in, it has basically overcome the two competitors, as both men fight to get to their feet after the last pinfall. the two basically use each other to stand, and once on their feet Shawn throws the first punch. Jarel rocks backwards but then comes back with a straight right hand of his own. Shawn stumbles back and falls to one knee, but gets up and comes back with another right. Jarel staggers a bit more but comes back with a really hard uppercut to the jaw, knocking Shawn off his feet again. Jarel stumbles towards the corner and in a break from his norm, climbs the turnbuckle. as shawn gets to his feet, Jarel jumps off with a diving clothesline to take him down again. both men wind up flat on their back, looking up into the rafters, the clock beginning to wind down. as the clock winds down to the one minute mark, Jarel sits up and Shawn Michaels nips up at the same time. Jarel gets to his feet and pulls his shirt straps down. Shawn runs in for a clothesline which Jarel ducks. Shawn bounces off the ropes again and is caught in a tilt a whirl into a tombstone piledriver, planting him firmly on his head. Jarel goes for the pin but the ref only reaches two before the buzzer sounds for the end of the time limit. Jarel rolls off the pin, thoroughly exhausted.

Jarel and Shawn are still laying in the ring, having just gone at it for over an hour and having taken a tremendous amount of punishment, especially after both falling several feet after being kicked over a ledge or chokeslammed off the stage. as the two men roll to the ropes to pull themselves up, the crowd begins to cheer loudly. the two legends come to the ring and shake hands in a show of respect, and the crowd cheers even louder
