I wrote this one becuase I was and still am a little love sick. I am a single guy and I am not the mocho type. For comprehensive puposes remember that Rhapsody is the name of a woman, and the word rhapsody has a specific usage in music.
My Rhapsody
Do you think of me when you lie alone?
Do you long for me?
When you think of the night sky do you long for the clouds to come?
Do you dream of warriors from strange lands far from where you are?
Do you long to ever be set free,
my sweet love, my rhapsody.
Does the never ending circle disrupt your wake?
Do you see me standing there, yours to take?
Are you searching as long and hard for me,
As I search for you in anguish's sea?
My love, my sweet, please set me free,
Twisted sound of melody, you are my dear rhapsody.
Do you fit in your world unlike me,
Or do you scream there is no where to be,
To be free, and happy, to love like the sea?
Do you long for me my rhapody?
I search for you, but you'll find me,
and forever we will be one,
One song, one key, one life,
No more rhapsody for you or me,
but our vast and complex melody,
displayed for all to see,
and finally we'll be free.
