in the process of turning my hair blue *crosses fingers* and thought I'd post a pic of a guy I read about on the web years ago...he's done several interesting projects...one of his most striking features is the PINK hair (I know a few of you girls go for that sort of thing)... so...here's John "Halcyon Pink" Styn of cockybastard.com (and several other sites) ***edit*** I just remembered that SOME of his work may reach beyond the PG-13 guideline...so please, if you surf, surf with caution

He's at the store right now, getting bleach. So.... *crosses fingers*
And the bottle of dye we got is good for several uses. I saturated his hair last night and only used about 1/3 of it. We're using Beyond the Zone ColorJamz from Sally's, in Huckleberry Blue. They've got a lot of colors besides blue too.
Then, for help in keeping it the right color, I found a little trick. Take some clear or white shampoo and add food coloring to the desired color. Shake well, then use it. If your hair is light enough, it will dye it that color. If your hair is already that color, it helps keep it that way.
And, he's back with bleach..... here's hoping this works.

did you go swimming? also MP is a temporary dye...if you wash your hair every day, it will fade...I used "Splat" from Walgreens, and have some "Color Jamz" from Sally's if I need a touchup...and the end result is BLUE (a fair bit brighter than my avi's hair)
