((For kissy XD and yes, Kissy, I know your feli's gonna take the situation the wrong way. go for it, amuse yourself :B! ... i'm evil like that XD blame the music I was lsitening to while posting this. It was battle music))
Red hued eyes regarded the small bundle that had... seemingly dropped out of nowhere as Tomoko had been lightly strolling the outside of the feli house that night. Her brows had raised as she'd jumped back when the strange... thing had dropped without warning from the sky; though she'd scanned the starry heavens for any sign up above, she saw nothing, and thus the fae sat and merely entertained herself by pawing at it gently.
At first, the dawning realisation that maybe it was HERS, almost made her take a step back. But upon closer inspection, she'd noticed the strange starry markings, nothing unlike the flames that had been passed down along her family, and there was also nothing to hint at Riddick's heritage anywhere, so this... thing, could not be hers, her mind had dumbly assured her. It was only then that she'd allowed herself to sniff at it curiously, her gaze hardening, narrowing as she circled it, like a hunter would it's prey. Her body movements were rash, passionate, her muscles tense, much like the element she served, Tomoko was swift to jump to conclusions, and dangerous... at the same time however, she was warm a soothing, and soon enough, that feeling of need that emanated from the bundle, tugged at her.
Silently, the fire fae sat down, lifted her head to the sky, and rolled her eyes in quite an unladylike fashion, "What the ******** eeeeeeeeever.... I can get a hint, you know! Don't push it!" the words were half growl, half shouted at the skies, aimed at no one in particular before she let out a sigh and lowered her maw to pick the strange bundle up.
"Call it Xanatos," the voice, low and deep, called from the forest's edge as a large fire marked elder padded out. His frame was set in a way that practically demanded respect from any about, his eyes, much like Mewtwo's, heavy lided, yet the gaze they held was much harsh, and unlike Mewtwo's not devoid emotion. Quite the contrary, inside the golden orbs, there seemed to swirl the fire that no doubt burned the elder's soul. The large male's maw, which had been set into a grim line, melted into a superior smirk as he padded slowly over to the female, "It fits it..." the smirk grew in intensity, his eyes voicing the fact he seemed to be hiding something; I know a secret you don't, they seemed to whisper at her.
Tomoko had frozen her movements, her maw still open a bare inch from the top of the bundle. Her own eyes had narrowed at the entrance of the much larger feli; he was easily towering over her. She had to admit it was quite impressive, almost majestic; it was due to that that she stood her ground for a few moments before she pulled herself into her previous sitting position, the bundle now laying between both of them.
Tension crackled around them, like a vivid flame surrounding them. Passionate, like liquid fire, the temperature of the previously cold night almost seemingly raising as both feli sat silently and looked each other in the eye, both narrowed, studying each other, muscles on the smaller femme tense. It must've been quite the sight to stumble upon, for the air around the large elder had heated up to a point his pelt was glowing, the ground around him sizling as the humidity evaporated from the ground.
The female however, had not backed down, her eyes falling from the elder, down to the bundle before they narrowed in silent challenge. The elder's own narrowed, the fire within them burning a tinge brighter as the smirk seemed to twitch.

It had been a long day. Riddick shook his head in silent wonder of the terrors his Step-grand-daughter could cause. Surely she took after her mother.. and, he felt safe adding this since Tomoko was no thought reader, her grandmother. After the scene a few days ago, he'd forced Almalphia into staying at the feli house for awhile to keep away from both Satan and Marebito. The pink feli's fur was beginning to wear thin from stress. If MewTwo showed up it'd be even better for her. Actually, he was dead set on making sure Mewtwo showed up, or at least knew to show. Stepping out the feli flap, and pointing himself in the direction of that particular purple fiend's home he was surprised to see his own mate standing out in the cold.
Standing out in the cold with a bundle.
With a bundle and her father.
Looking pissed.
Riddick paused on the porch, wondering if he had time to duck inside before either of them noticed his presence. That was cowardly, of course, but he'd never claimed to be a hero--quite the opposite, actually. For the most case, all he'd ever really worried about, up until Kala, was keeping his own skin firmly attatched to his body, it just so happened that that usually involved a good amount of blood shed on other people's parts.
He'd just taken a step back, perfectly set on fleeing the scene, when he remembered the bundle. Riddick's strangly coloured eyes grew wide behind his glasses, and then locked onto the sight of the star flecked thing sitting so carelessly beside his mate's feet. He saw better in the night, and thus was easily able to make out the designs along the cloth. It didn't seem to look anything like either of them, but there was a yellow glowing patch on one side, and stars could be interprited as fire. His stomach sunk even as his feet moved of their own accord to tramp through the snow towards the two tense feli.
That terse feeling didn't escape him, but the truth was that his mind was rather firmly fixed on much more damning things. Coming up directly behind his mate, despite the slight amount of heat radiating off of her fire marked body, he lowered his head to sniff at the bundle. It didn't smell like either of them too terribly much, though there was a slight likeness to Tomoko. That could have been due her closeness. "Tommie..." He broke into the scene in a strangly quiet voice, "Ah... is there something you haven't told me?"

Dark Fire Angel
The tension had reached quite a agonising levels, though neither elder, nor female had moved an inch. That is, till a particularly familiar scent hit Tomoko's nose, forcing an ear to flick back, just to make sure. The movement didn't go unnoticed by her father, whom took the chance to tear his gaze away and stare at the porch that lay beyond her daughter's shoulder. The smirk upon the male's maw intensified slightly further, the heat radiating from his body raising up a notch. It was only after the smaller male had talked that the elder finally could not continue. The laughter rumbled through his chest softly at first, however, he soon enough raised his head and opened his maw, and laughed.
The heat had not backed down, but rather, seemed to intensify as the elder laughed, however, the tension melted away, leaving the previously stiff fairy to relax, now scowling. Ignoring the laughing elder, she turned her wary orange gaze to Riddick, "I... don't really.... know?" she offered lamely, her ears focused on her father, "I was... trying to figure that out before... he strode in here and told me to call it Xanatos," her scowl deepened at the word, the name was almost barked out, almost an insult, or rather, almost like a bad tasting word.
"You never did get over that incident, did you?"
The pointed look the female shoot her father was enough to make him snort, though he'd regained his composure, looking once more regal as any other, and quite haughty, to boot, "What makes you think I'd call it Xanatos?"
"Because you're my daughter..." it was a cryptic messague, eyes narrowing as the smirk appeared once more, his gaze landing on Riddick briefly before he lifted a paw, licking it, grooming over his face in fluid motions, the glow around him refusing to die down, "And you'll follow in my footsteps, like you've done so far, I'm sure... not because you or I want you to, but because it seems like irony clings to you, Tomoko, like it clings to me, and that bundle there is simply proof of it."
Again, it was a cryptic message, which Tomoko received with the wrinkling of her nose, "I don't want it. I don't need it. It's not mine," and this said, she stood, and padded away from her spot, aiming for the feli house, leaving both males with the bundle. Her pace grew slower, however, the further she went, still the female merely stopped, halfway to the house; her body simply stopped moving, her ears flattened against her head as she turned her head to look back over her shoulder. Her father's haughty smirk reached her again just as the elder stood up from his place, glanced cryptically at Riddick again and slowly moved towards the forest, vanishing into the shadows without further word.
He'd been right however, and Tomoko found herself slowly turning, returning to the bundle, the tension now gone, and the cold night air finally curling around her body, lowering her own body temperature back to reasonable levles; the effect the elder had had upon his surroundings, had not gone unnoticed... he'd left a circle of slightly sizzled grass where he'd sat, burn in place, incinerated. and yet... he'd been right, "I didn't cheat on you, by the way," she didn't really have to say it. She knew he knew, but she'd needed to get the words off her chest, her orange gaze staring at the strange bundle, "I don't even know if it's mine... dropped out of nowhere in front of me. I'll take a sign though, I'll take a hint," a pause, her gaze returning to Riddick, a frown covering her features, "But I'm not calling it Xanatos!" her ears lay back against her head.
She knew what her father's cryptic words had meant, and the only reason there'd been tension; it was because he'd been making fun of her, teasing her... she knew him, and sadly, he knew her. They were the same. Their element was the same too, and they reacted in similar ways when provoked, "GAWDS!" her maw lowered to pick up the bundle, her eye twitching, "If I name it XANATOS all I'll have is my father mate's freakin' scowl dancing all over my mind's eye for EVER. And that's one mental image I've tried to wash away from my mind since the 'incident'," with her pointed look, she idly hoped Riddick caught the hint, because quite frankly, she didn't feel like explaining, "And actually, come to think about it, there's something I haven't told you; I put your coffee in a used sock each morning before I make it and give it to you. Her deadpan look made it impossible to tell if this was in fact, a joke, or... not. However, after a moment, the corner of her lip twitched, giving away the fact it'd been a joke to rid herself of the tingling in her muscles.
She'd not liked Xanatos.
She was not naming this kid Xanatos.
And yet, deep down, she knew she would.

"Of course you do," Riddick nodded dully. He was coming to his senses rather slowly it seemed, after all, he'd just had a rather large shock. Her words about cheating on him, though true, only added to that. It hadn't occured to him to think of that, since their having a baby wouldn't have come as THAT big of a surprise--they were nothing like Mewtwo and Almalphia. However, now that she'd brought it up herself it suddenly occured that this bundle was dotted with stars and a sun. The fact that her old mate's name had been "Night" rolled through his mind and his face darkened a touch before he turned to face her. He wouldn't bring it up, as he did trust Tomoko, but that thought was now planted in his head.
As for the name... A chill ran down Riddick's back. "You mean to keep it, then?" He asked, raising a brow as he looked at the bundle once more. Of course she did, the back of his mind replied. She wasn't the type to leave a kid sitting about in the cold... and neither was he. Riddick sighed at himself, then leaned down to nose the little bundle again. "... better keep it away from Almalphia. She's inside and in enough of a foul mood as is."
Deciding not to go into why that was, Riddick latched onto the reason for the elder feli's strange appearance and dissapearance--not that he wasn't used to that one coming and going fleetingly. "He wants us to name the kid after his mate? Who knows if its a boy, anyway, it could be a little girl." Riddick blinked at the bundle again. When had he decided to take it in as his own in turn?
