The NPCs didn't move, though. Ian was just standing there with his arms out the whole time, and the faultline could have made more of a rock slide than a crater. The lava bubble seems more plausible, since there is a mountain nearby with an unknown history. But what, or who, could be hiding beneath it?
*LOL* That's what Ian wanted you to think. He was actually using his long latent mind powers. (Not true, so not true, but eh, I was attempting to Ian an excuse for just standing there, xd )
As for beneath the lava bubble... seeing as I'm a growing fan of Gaian mythology, I'd love to see a long hidden shrine to one of the gods -cursed of course, which affected the first poor NPC to find it.
NO WAIT! <-- is really going off on a tangent, now
An ancient shrine... TO GRUNNY! His green-ness, despite what people believe is not the first of his manfestations. In fact, in ancient Gaia, the grunny rose for the first time and wrecked havoc on the world, due to the misguiding some certain individuals. In order to contain this maddness, the Gaia gods, sealed the essence of grunny away in this shrine, never to be found again. UNTIL, G-corp began their underground tunnelings to build their secret underground test facility, which caused some of the Grunny-ness to leak into the facility, which the labtechs later created into the G-virus.
... I am so going to make this into a seperate theory, because its just that messed up. biggrin
