Alice owns a small two bedroom apartment. Her bedroom and blood red walls and black trimming around the top. All the floors were hardwood floors. The second bedroom was never in use so it remained a dull white and was used for storage. The kitchen was big for an apartment and was attached to the living room area. Alice's furniture and all black. She had a wide screen tv on the wall acroos from the couch and there was a laptop computer on a table next to the couch also. She wasn't home much and when she was it wasn't for very long.

Alice had walked all the way home in the pouring rain. She had pasted many people that were running for their cars to get out of the rain and go home yet she felt like she was the only one walking down those streets. As she walked through her bedroom pulling clothes out of her closet to get changed into Alice wondered why she lived at all. Taking her clothes off she took a long hot shower then got dressed. After writing her book a little more she closed her eyes and fell asleep. She started to dream of many things that have happened in the past, and she noticed bad things always happened when it rains. Everything that had ever went wrong in her life happened when it rained.......

After all the action at the construction site Alice came home and listened to her radio. She was still amazed that Lucifer could kill people with shadows. The cops were probably trying to figure out what the hell happened and work will probably stop at the site for a while, but none of this mattered to her. Alice thought it was worth everything to see how powerful everyone else was......

Alice had come home after going to the library. She walked over to the phone and started dialing a number. The phone rang four times before someone picked it up.
"Hey sexy what can i do for ya?" A man said on the other end
"You seem happy today Vincent. I need to meet up with you. I need some information and I was hoping you could help an old friend out." Alice answered
"Why do you only call me when you need something? You never just call to see whats going on. You wouldn't even know if I was dead or anything...." The man said back
"Does that mean your not gonna help me out?" Alice wished he would she wasn't good at getting information on her own.
"Well.... I guess I will. It just means I get to see you again, and that if I ever need help your gonna have too......." He said
" 'Kay whatever. So when can you meet with me?" Alice said relieved
"Today, tomorrow, whenever." He said back
" Great. Meet me at the corner pocket pool hall in an hour. I'll be waiting." Alice said and hung up the phone
She quickly changed and run out the door.
