I'm drawn to a band by the tightness of the rhythm section (drums and bass). I absolutely love it when bass and drums can compliment each other at every turn... The other thing I look for is complexity. When I jam with my band we just pick a key and play, we don't bother with a particular style or sound we just play... it always sounds awesome lol.

I'm a real suck for guitarists, so if the band has a really good guitarist I'm hooked. Also, if the guitarist is attractive.. BONUS whee
