It's not for a few monthes, but I may be attending my first convention in a while and I'd like to start my costume early so I can add details if I see it fit instead of completely tearing apart my costume last minute. Unfortunately, there's too many decisions. Who should I be? I have some ideas, but I can't decide. Therfore, I'd appreciate your input.Physical description (of me):5'8, female, fair complexion. Dark brown hair. Body type: Normal. In the middle. However, I should be somewhat slimmer by the end of the summer, as I am planning an *improved* work out schedule. I may also by cutting my hairshort.
Character Ideas (so far):Shia (Pita Ten) Maid Cafe Outfit
Shia (Pita Ten) Kitty P-Js (Not a great reference, as it's not official art- this is based on the manga, but I would be cosplaying anime Shia, who has dark brown hair).
Alfons Heiderich (The Fullmetal Alchemist Movie) This is one of my favourite characters, and a pretty simple cosplay (good for a first time, though I'd have lots of time to work on it anyway... difficulty isn't really a factor). His eye colour is much closer to mine, and I think I'd have fun being him (I can bring blood capsules... yey). Binding would be almost unnoticable once the coat is additioned.
Tamaki (Ouran High School Host Club) Mad Hatter outfit from the 'Haruhi in wonderland' episode. My (shorter, younger, immature) brother wanted to be Hani-Kun if we end up going, so if I'm going to be forced to drag him around, we might as well match. Then again, he's considered going as Alphonse E, too...
And last but not least,
L (From DeathNote) because he rocks. Or rocked. But that's old news. My eyes being Blue-ish gray, I'd have to say his are closer to mine as well. Plus (other then the wig) the costume would be easy. Binding wouldn't be that noticable under a baggy shirt.
So, those are my ideas so far. My favourites are probably Alfons, L, and Maid Cafe Shia. If you have any suggestions based on my description, I would appreciate them.
