WOWZERS! Not long after it's Australian Debut yesterday, I receive news of series 2!!! Here's the quote wink Quote: James Marsters for Torchwood News Dated: 19/6/2007 SyFy Portal report that Buffy actor; James Marsters will guest star in Series 2 of Torchwood. The news is confirmed by his official website, which claims he is currently in Cardiff filming an episode for Series Two of Torchwood. DWO will bring you more news on this item as we get it. Of course, it's speculation, as I haven't heard anything about filming yet! I mean, Doctor Who starts filming soon!

Oh my god, yay! I used to love Buffy, before they stopped making it sad
His website also says he's doing a one off-concert in Cardiff on Saturday on the same page. Wish I could go. But I still have no money.

Well, here's another quote, from Outpost Gallifrey this time biggrin Quote: American actor and musician, James Marsters has been signed up for a guest appearance in Series Two of Torchwood Marsters has previously played Spike in the American series Buffy the Vampire Slayer as well as appearing in Smallville playing Dr. Milton Fine. Marsters is also an acclaimed musician having played in bands and solo in bars and clubs for many years and he was the lead singer for the rock band Ghost of the Robot. The appearance in Torchwood was revealed on the website James Marsters Live. The site also announced that Marsters will be playing a one-off concert in Cardiff on Saturday, July 21. He will be appearing at The Point in Mount Stuart Square. Tickets are now on sale. Thanks to Matthew See and others Hmm ... his website mentions that Captain jack is Multi (Omni) sexual, so maybe there is something sexual between them?

Is it wrong of me to want for a Jack/Ianto/James's character love triangle??
I mean really, seeing all three of them on the screen at once would be enough to make me keel over and die, but to have SUBTEXT too it...will keep me going for YEARS lol.

I told my sister this news just after I found out and she goes 'Oh, that's really cool!' so I assumed she actually knew who he was. Then, this morning, we were sat watching the musical episode of Buffy and I go 'He's going to be in Torchwood!' And she goes 'really?'
'Yes. That's James Marsters.'
'Oh, I didn't know that.'
