[.. X ..] The right wrist turned around, and the palm faced Crawley. "In range of Laz's hands" was pretty freaking close, so his shuffling forward and stomping on Crawley's left foot with his right should be rather easy. It was simultaneous motion Coincidentally. Crawley's left foot slid forward to the outside of Lazenca's right foot as he shuffled forward because he was looking for the palm again. Simultaneously he shot a quick left hook up under the extended arm to knock at the chin. Immediately afterwards he retreated with an overhand left punch as he shuffle stepped backwards to just within range of Lazenca's hands. He rose his left knee up to hip level with his whole left side turn towards Lazenca and tucked his chin just at the end of the motion, looking for retaliation.

Quote: The right wrist turned around, and the palm faced Crawley. It was simultaneous motion, to switch things up... by now, Mr.C had to be getting wary of that hand being opened at him.
---
One could expect one of those "fool me once/twice" situations, and he was a bit more ready for that. The stomp missed, as would the the hook as it met with Lazenca's arm dropping into it, his right wrist knocking it down and to his left/Crawley's right. Contining his own motion forward to knee with a bit more stretch should pin Crawley's hand to his body for an integral second that disallowed the overhand. The moving back didn't happen since it had to actually protect.
With Mr.C still being in Lazenca's hand range, the knee should connect. But he wasn't likely to go backwards, since the stomp missed....the right hand continued down, grabbing the back of Crawley's wrist and holding it down. While the left foot landed, the right hand backfisted Crawley in the face. He continued a tight hold, claws there just to add the usual unspoken "move and I'll pierce you" that usually had people second-guessing actions with restrained body parts.

Pinned against the body by the oppoent's pushing knee while he's retreating? Silly. Crawley Immediately scooped up Lazenca's left leg with his right arm and spun outwards to Lazenca's left while lifting the leg to make him fall on his back. Followed by a second spin which would put him back in normal stance with the left side forward as he stared down at the guy.

Of course, the point of pinning the arm at all was to make sure that Mr. Crawley's retreating was hindered, if not absolutely halted. Couldn't go too far with the arm trapped between a wrist and chest-- the knee was completely non-factor in the arm pin/wrist grab. And if Crawley could still move back, then Lazenca was just going with him. Extra stretch and extention had been added to make sure the knee landed because he could feel that Crawley was resisting it by moving back.
The backfist was already on its way, the plan being to combo these attacks-- so there was nothing stopping Mr.C from trapping after the fact and spinning to try and topple Laz, which worked. The first thing he thought to do was to tighten that leg and resist the opponent's pulling away after the trip/throw, as well to keep the hold strong on Crawley's wrist to drag him down as well.
Falling with one's leg tucked under oneself was never too good a feeling, but it's how it happened for the sake of keeping Crawley's right arm in check. Such a fall would have him leaning a bit on his left side. Not knowing MMA named grabs or anything, and since he had a free left arm, he started delivering hooks to Mr.C's head and general closed-fist bashes to the face.

Not knowing MMA named grabs or anything, and since he had a free left arm, he started delivering hooks to Mr.C's head and general closed-fist bashes to the face. Hooks (x) General closed fist bashes (ok). Well. Now even moreso on Crawley's territory. Speedily. And in this order. 1. Crawley's right foot came up into the inside of Lazenca's left ankle forcing it to begin to rotate outside at the knee joint. Also aided this was that "trapped" right arm which, while the elbow was the portion trapped, he could rotate his shoulder. So his hand placed itself on the inside of Lazenca's calf and pushed. Minor pain due to the floor being there but uncomfortable and dangerous. 2. With the help of both feet, Crawley's upperbody writhed down in an arc away from Lazenca's reach. instant transition into!3. Crawley turned over to his left side using the compromising position Lazenca was in to force him to turn onto his right. 4. Crawley's right knee rose up, wedging Lazenca's left leg open where now Crawley was ready to catch the calf with the pit of his elbow and the ankle with the pit of his arm. instant transition into!5. his legs formed a triangle formation around Lazenca's left thigh and the feet burried themselves under his pelvic area immediately after. instant transition into!6. Crawley arched his back as he pushed his wrist into Lazenca's calf and tightened his grip with this legs as he threatened to break the shinbone (or whatever's below the knee and above the ankle) in two.

Inside= back towards the body, outside= to the ground. There was only so far his foot could go. For the pain, edit in pretty much ignored, since once his foot touched the ground... it wasn't going anywhere. Slightly twisting his leg would take away the extra inch of leverage Crawley was hoping for, so while Mr.C tried to force pain that wasn't happening (1)...
Lazenca ended his punching as he felt Crawley trying to slide away to set up into something (2). Excape, a complex hold? Laz didn't know and had no plans to find out. The left arm went to the ground and Laz pushed himself up onto his knees-- sitting on the trapped arm, this'd probably hurt a bit. However, the point was to move with his opponent, and stop him from moving anymore.
Crawley's left hand was almost given back to him, it slamming down into his side with Laz leaning down into it. This position of being hunched over while keeping the leg tucked would be the only pain offered, for now it went into a different type of submission where it wasn't by lock or break or anything, it was simply removing options. Crawley wasn't getting straight up for his arm being pushed into his own body by someone twice his size and nearly destroying his balance, since people are used to upper-body balance or power [try it]. Rolling to his left would yield no results for Laz's right knee being there on the side and halting seperation-- it'd stop with Crawley on his back, and the arm on his chest. Rolling to the left was rather impossible for the arm Lazenca was trapping in the leg.
He expected a struggle, a hell of a writhing. He expected a foot or knee to the back. Spitting and cursing, the works. He then expected Crawley to get tired of that, and realize that he wasn't going anywhere, then give up. Otherwise...

Crawley grabbed Lazenca's groin and crushed with his hand as he sat up. Then forced him back down and away with a right foot thrust to the neck.

Nothing can really prepare you for getting grabbed liked that, except knowing beforehand that such a thing was likely to happen-- a kick to the groin, coupled with current positioning. And this is why he had a free hand, so he could reach under himself and pull the knife at his opposite hip. Fending off the kick with a tucked chin and raised shoulder followed by a hard shrug, he kept going up-- this time with a sharp point pressing into Crawley's neck.
Eyes were open wide and teeth clenched hard from pain, and later he would lament the lack of metal skirt, which would have probably hindered such a thing. But for the here and now, Lazenca could end the stalemate if Crawley didn't. He had about a second to decide before the discomfort became too great and Laz made the decision for him.

Fending off the kick with a tucked chin and raised shoulder followed by a hard shrug....Which did nothing to defeat the fact that it was intended to push push him away. So while Lazenca was waiting for his nervous system to work and recognize pain. Crawley kept him at bay by continuing to crush his groin and force his upper body away with his foot. Lazenca reached for his knife and tried to threaten Crawley with it. Okay.. Crawley's left leg went inside between them and over to the left side of Lazenca's neck and hooked around it pulling down Meanwhile, Crawley's right knee slid itself between Lazenca's left arm and body as he tried to draw the knife. Creating a situation where... if he didn't draw the knife he'd be completely on his face. If he did then Crawley's right leg would immediately go around the shoulder as his body turned, rending the arm currently useless. And since he'd be pushed or turned or whatever.. Crawley could just as easily wedge his arm out of the leg and further twist the shoulder threatening to twist it out the socket.

By not releasing his groin, the decision had been made.
Sequence of events: groin grab -> knife draw -> shoulder kick -> leg slips, right?
The kick to the head was blocked by the tucked chin and shoulder, with the intention to make it push up and off to Laz's right/Crawley's left-- this is why he shrugged hard. Lazenca would be sitting up by the time the foot was back on him if at all, which put him in fine enough position to stab downwards.
Which means that by the time Crawley went to stop Lazenca from drawing the knife, it was already too late as Laz was already up on his knees, stradling him. And he'd just given up any attempt to keep Lazenca away by throwing the left leg over the shoulder.
Also...Quote: 1. Crawley's right foot came up into the inside of Lazenca's left ankle forcing it to begin to rotate outside at the knee joint.
Consider the following-- either the foot is under Lazenca's leg, or it's between his body and Crawley's (what other choices are there, right?) So with noting that moving over to join and do a grab Laz DID recognize for having been in it before...
He stood up. 'Bout the same time the other leg was around him, he would have been up on two feet, though hunched over his opponent since getting taken down would hurt the hell out of his shoulder and with a momentum shift, could end the match. Now, this was dangerous because Crawley had his hand back, if he so chose to stop squeezing Laz's groin. He was dealing with the pain because... groin pain was much worse. If it was dislocated, he's probably not feel it for the burning in the ballz. Also, tensing the arm has ALWAYS worked for Lazenca in the short run, so there should be no reason it shouldn't work now. Though again, it was short term- if he was floored and Mr.C got the twisting he wanted, then that'd probably be that for the arm.
Current positions: Lazenca bending over Crawley, who has Lazenca's arm with both feet and has his upper shoulders/head on the ground. Lazenca's right holding Crawley's left. Left hand holding knife. Crawley's right free, if it stopped that goddamned squeezing. Let's give him a reason to stop.
The left hand plunged the knife into Reiko's groin, and the right foot stomped on his face as hard as possible. Eyes open as pain leads to desperation.

Perhaps if Crawley stuck it out he could simply deal with a knife to the groin and keep moving around like it was nothing but a mosquito bite.
Ah well.
Since Crawley had the arm with both legs and his right arm was free he just stuck his hand in the way. Let it pierce, slide it all the way up. grip the outside of Lazenca's hand. Twist.
All this groin crushing and Lazenca still hasn't let go of Crawley's left arm.
Okay. They were close enough. If Lazenca wanted to keep the arm, he could have it. So just as long as Crawley could easily now take his left leg off the back of Lazenca's neck and extend the wrap around his neck and head.
Choke hold.
Oddly enough.. it's almost identical to the same hold used last time. Triangle.
Checkmate in 3 moves.
