Didn't your mom call the attendance office the days you were absent to say that you were absent? That usually prevents any problems.

We get a call home if we have any unexcused absences that day. It states your name and the period(s) that you missed. I hate having to deal with that thing.

Yeah. But they still count against you, even though they're "excused".
It's bullshit.
They only don't count if you have a doctor's note.
And my mom isn't going to spend money to take me to the doctor every time I don't feel well and s**t.

My school sucks with scheduling. They gave us one class period to decide our next years classes, and if we change our minds about a class it's hard to see the consulers and reschedule. One of my older schools sent our scheduling packets home with us and gave us a due date. That way not so many people changed their minds. I changed my mind about taking honors classes, because it made me misserable, but it turned out to be really complicated.

Honors classes made me miserable (Turned out to be one of the dumb ones in the smart people classes and the smart one in the dumb people classes). That's why I'm not in them anymore. I had no confidence because I kept getting put down.
