He's been coughing and sneezing since the day we got him, 6 weeks ago today. The vet game him antibiotics a couple of weeks ago when he thought it was just bronchitis. They apparently did no good, because is has become pneumonia. Now he is on stronger antibiotics. The vet said if this week's worth doesn't work, he may have to use the mega-antibiotics, and those can cause bone and joint problems in puppies.
Hiro is less than 4 months old, and he is such a happy and good puppy. He doesn't act sick, but he coughs and sneezes just like people do when they get pneumonia.
Everyone, please pray that he gets better. The vet said he "should" be okay, but he won't say that with any certainty.
I thought Tohma was going to cry when the vet was telling us everything today.

He's all better now, even the residual cough is almost all gone now. Only after he has been outside in the heat for a long period of time running around does he do any coughing. Boy, is that a relief!
