With so many burning in hell, won't that mean with that many bodies, we'd smother out the flames and it would go dark?
PostPosted: Thu Jul 05, 2007 9:38 pm

I just tell them I don't believe in hell, because I'm not Christian. Then they (most of the time) either change what thier attacking and say I'm gonna burn because I haven't "accepted Christ as my personal savior", or they give up on me completely and go away.
If they ask about heaven, I tell them there is no such thing to me, only the earth, and a wiat until you're sent back here for another run.

`Roguey
Thou shalt not follow the readings of the book of Leviticus.
That thing has some strange laws. Mice, bats and crabs are considered 'unclean' animals, and if you eat or handle them it's considered taboo and you need to 'purify' yourself. Theres also stuff about sacrifice and rituals. Theres heaps more things in there somewhere, but i couldn't find much more finer details.
If you want to read more :p

I'm surprised people still take that thing seriously :/

Bats are my favorite animal...UNCLEAN! NUUUUUU ((jk jk))

Q: If God tells us not to get divorced and tells us not to be gay, then how come he can forgive those that divorce over and over, but can't forgive those who are gay? Especially when divorce is a choice, and gay really truly isn't.

A: -insert answer-

The Bible is the entire reason homosexuality is viewed as negative.

"If a man also lie with mankind, as he lieth with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination: they shall surely be put to death; their blood shall be upon them."
Leviticus 20:13

That is why I hate the Christian god with every once of my soul.

Yours Truly,
Ruthven

ok, see that just says that people will kill them. it doesn't say anything about God sending them to neither heaven or hell. see, people interpret it differently, but it doesn't at all say that God will punish them for it!!! that much is obvious. sorry, i'm catholic, and i'm either in denial of my religion or i'm just veiwing it much differently, becuase i can't believe that God will banish His children for loving when he is an all forgiving God. but in answer to the original question, nobody's ever been that blunt. though i did once ask a very religious boy, "which is worse, in the bible's opinion, homosexuals, or prostitutes?" and he replied, "homosexuals." somehow, i fail to believe any of that. but yeah, he told me that if i was bi i shouldnt be. it's all so complicated, and he just doesn't understand is all. that's why society doesn't always accept us.

may i also add...that in that scripture it says surely...meaning they will be discriminated nd put to death. it doesnt say u must. AND GOD CREATED ME LIKE THIS! HOW CAN IT BE WRONG? NO HUMAN CAN TELL ME ITS WRONG! its not in a human's position to tell a homosexual they're going to hell

that was
a) way long time ago
2) written by men
and #) the old testament. jesus came and freed all of us from sin. the motto of the church i attend is "to be more than a follower, to become christlike" meaning become just like christ. and what did he do? he loved everyone^^he loved whores and lawyers and tax collectors, and he really didn't like the religious leaders much cuz they were bigots and hypocrites, much like today. even my aunt, who is a pastor's wife, has always judged others, when the bible clearly states that "those who judge others, so shall you be judged"

heh, what i'm saying is so did jesus^^he hated religion and religious people and was TOTALLY for getting them off their high horses^^ and what do you think is happening nowadys? religious leaders are way up on their pedestals, looking down on us as miserable peons and doing everything in their power to give themselves MORE power, and yet, we, who do nothing but try to live our lives with dignity and faith that we will someday become something more than what we are, are the ones who will triumph^^

in other words, god hates the sin, not the sinner. and if homosexualtiy is such a sin, why is it found in nature if animals do not have the power of choice as humans do?

www.godhatesfags.com

my friend showed me this site...it made me cry...this is what's wrong with this world...god came here to love and show love and make love(not meaning sex) not turn man against man, forcing him to kill one another.

btw, my friend did not show me this because he thinks my sexuality is a sin. he showed me this because he himself is baptist and wants it known to me that not all of them feel this way. in fact, the baptist church has given this denomination the boot, expelling them. but it is people like this who make this such a violent world...
