Smiling, Raina reopened her book, and settled back down into her chair.

From a chair in a dark corner of the common room, Nick had whitnessed the verbal exchange between the younger boy and the Ravenclaw head of house.

As she read her book Raina spoke outloud, seemingly to no one at all "Did you have a nice summer?" she asked Nick, who she knew was hiding in a dark corner as usual.

Nick would have been surprised had it been anyone else in the room with him, but some how Raina seemed to know things that no one else had figured out yet. "The Same as always" he said in a soft, almost sad voice.

Raina sighed softly before responding "you do know that you could always come stay with me right?" she asked, still not looking up from her book, but placing strong feelings in her words.

Lupy enters the common room and notices the odd older student, Nick, sitting in the corner reading a book. He debated for a second, and then approached him.
"Hey Nick, I didnt' know if you would be interested or not, but Professor Black has agreed to give us private magic lessons, if you want to join us, we are meeting at her office at 4pm today" he said using his most charming personality to warm up to the boy.

Nick gave lupy a cautious sideways glance and then nodded slightly to show that he had heard and understood what the other student had said
