Well the Part Albino is the most sensible explination, but seeing as that's a Joke I can say Bella isnt related to a Vampire. But I was always curious as to why the powers of the mind dont work on bella. Maybe she's just weird that way. But I have seem people like Bella who have vampire coloured skin: My uncle, and my friend Kassidy, I swear if she had sharper teeth she could look like a vampire.

I think Bella's anti-power is like her blood. it is a natural defence mecanism so the vamps can't find her as easily.

well, the way i see it is bella bellongs on both sides of this debate,
1. her relationship with edward was sensed by one of the volturi's powers, so that doesn't exactly mean she's immune to all power.
2. yeah, most she is immune to. take it as thou wilst.
and as for the relations to a vampire? i'm thinkin no. vampire's lack the ability to reproduce in a sexual way, thats why they bite to create more. so bella having an inherited relationship to a vampire is impossible considering the facts. there's no conspiracy here, though that would complicate things in the plot wouldn't it?

Izzy Witch Alisox She was also joking about the albino thing. There's a difference between albino-ism and just natural paleness. There is a huge difference between natural paleness and albino-ism. I have a friend who has mild albino-ism and he fits in really well where I live because every body on the western side of the cascade mountains is really pale. From the olympic peninsula to the cascade mountain range, there is very little sun during the year except for april (a little) to August. We are all pale. It is just what happens when there is no sun. But she stated this in the beginning of the book before she went to Forks... o__o Well, the fact that Vamps can't have kids kind of shoots down this idea. But ya never know what can happen...

I not only agree with you but I like the idea because then Edward might be more willing to let Bella become a vampire.

grayishsky Where did it ever say Twilight vampires can't have kids/sex? You're thinking Lestat the vampire, which being quite stereotypical. Be orginal! Take a chance! Besides, her 'power' as you so put it wouldn't be very strong, if its only a small part of her ancestry is vampire. So, her 'power' is that other vampire powers concerning her mind don't work on her. Oh, vampires can do the hibbity-dibbity. Just look at Emmett, and his sex addiction.
However! Vampires never age, thus, stopping age in the womb if concieved.
And, as soon as you die (unless your sperm is frozen somewhere) the sperm becomes useless. The womb also becomes useless.
