The study found here.
I'm not going to post it, because it's HUGE but thoughts/comments? Is this surprising to you? How does it affect the debate as a whole? What does this mean to you?

This I beleive was a thread here awhile back and also a thread on Abort73. I honostly don't find it surprising. If you cant see the humanity in some one before their born, I cant see how you can fully see their humanity after they are born

Seraph and Tiger pretty much said what I was going to.
If one has no qualms with killing one's child before it's born,
who's to say one's going to have any qualms with hurting it after it's born?

Interesting hypothesis, and I'm not surprised. I'm leery of internet journals, but they *are* from Bowling Green...
Anyways, I think they neglected one really obvious (to us) conclusion: the defence of abortion from the idea of "every child a wanted child" is invalid. Abortion doesn't prevent child abuse.
I've run into pro-choicers on this site and elsewhere who would make interesting case studies, concerning the origin of their hatred of children. Maybe they were abused?

That would, most likely, be the case.
It's not uncommon to find the abused becoming the abuser.
It doesn't always happen, but it often does.

I don't want to name drop people. I know for a fact she's not in the choicers guild though (I looked for her there a few times in the member list). Any ways, she claims to be "child free" yet she claims to have a condition where she feels unloved unless she's having sex. She claims to have lost her virginity at age twelve and claims that a month dosnt go buy where she hasnt had sex at least ten or twenty times.
She latter stated that she was, infact, abused as a child, malnuritioned, she also has a few mental conditions that she never got treatment for untill recently. I'm convinced her "child free" attitude does not stem from how "ugly and uncoordinated" (as she claims) infants and toddlers are...but from her abuse and maletreatment as a child.

Have I got this wrong. . . they started looking in a place with vulnerable children, I would guess abused children in there somewhere, THEN looked to see how many of the abusers had abortion history?
Is it just me or would it have made more sense to start the other way around? Look at women who've had abortions and went on to have children, then look at whether they abuse their children?
