The wind held the promise of the change of seasons and the night air hung heavy with the coming snow. Adina drew her furred cloak tighter around her shoulders, the deep hood shielding her face from the whipping winds. The vampiress didn't really feel the cold, but some old habits, die hard. And she'd never lost her fondness for seasonal fashions.

She loved this time of year, when she could better enjoy the evenings for the sun had long since set. Leaves swirled around her skirts, scattered across the ground as she walked, but none crunched beneath her feet for her footsteps fell with silent grace.

She found herself amongst the ominous shadows of the Os Myli Tosi. The great and ancient stones breaking from the earth and stabbing toward the heavens. This was one of her favourite places on the guild ground. Perhaps it was because these stones were older than even herself... but whatever the reason, she once more found herself drawn to the circle. The ancient power thrummed in her head like the beating of a drum. Other powers lingered here. Newer powers. Traces of magery and rituals performed by other inhabitants of the Dark Sakura. But none so old as the rocks or the magicks that bound them.

Seating herself on a small boulder, she tilted her head back and gazed up at the black expanse of sky.

Another was out walking the grounds this night, and his course just so happened to also take him towards the stone circle. Hands stuffed into the pockets of his black leather duster, Enness wasn't really sure why he decided to even come this way. Though as he drew closer to the stones, he grew more curious of them as he could also feel the power in them, almost as if they had a life force of their own.

Breathing in the cool night air deeply, enjoying the taste, smell and feel of it through his body, he brought his eyes down from looking at the sky, feeling he was nearing the stones and stopped suddenly about 15 feet behind and slightly to the left of where Adina sat a top her boulder as his eyes fell on her.

His booted foot came down with a crunch to crush a leaf underneath it, this being the first sound he had made while walking, though he was sure the figure had known he was around long before. Also as he stopped a rather large, furry mass bumped into the back of his legs, growling slightly in question as to why he had stopped so suddenly.

A small smirk spread across his face as he realized who the figure was. 'Vampires'. No wonder he hadn't sensed someone else here. He could never reliably sense the presence of a vampire as it lacked that which was what he usually sensed in people, though he could sometimes find them from that lacking. However, the power of these stones, especially being in so close proximity now, he probably wouldn't be able to sense an elephant if it was standing behind him.

Crouching down, he brought a hand out of one pocket to rub the wolf beside him as his eyes wandered from the lovely figure of Adina to the stones.

"Quite the view."

Stars dotted the darkness as she gazed upwards, the sliver of a moon climbing higher in the sky. Nights such as these were ideal for sitting in reflection. And the Lady Adina sat lost in her thoughts, reflecting upon the past. And it was then, that a figure from the past chose to show up.

A slip of a smirk played at the corner of her mouth as she still sat turned away from the man and the wolf at his heels.

'Interesting' she thought to herself.

It had been nearly three years since she had last crossed paths with this one. A mere three years. To a vampire it was as if she had seen him only yesterday. His countenance as familiar to her as if it truly had been but the day before.

"How lovely to see you again my dear Ennessss."

She did not turn, but her silken voice broke the silence, carrying across the distance between them. A whisper in his ear, t'was as if she stood beside him. A velveteen caress that poured over the skin, trailing shivers.

"Who is your friend?"

Eyes returning from the stones to the petite back of Adina, Enness patted the wolf and stood up. Brushing some stray strands of hair from his face with the back of a hand, he made a slight bow like motion to her back.

"And you dear Lady. It has been a while."

A slight shiver ran over him that had nothing to do with the cold at the sound of her voice. The way it carried, she might as well have been beside him, almost as if she had touched him. That voice, and the way it drew out his name brought memories of a night three years ago flooding back.

He moved forward, halfing the distance between them before stopping again. The smirk on his face growing slightly wider at the images. 'Very interesting'
.

"I hope I'm not intruding."

Glancing back over his shoulder at the wolf that had stayed put and now laid with his head on his paws, watching the two through half lidded eyes, an ear flicking slightly at Adina's question.

"That's Nighteyes."
