Whos going to teach Aang firebending??

Iroh is an obvious choice to teach Aang
but the last time we saw Iroh he was encased in the crystal rock

Aang and the rest of the gang left Ba Sing Sei behind along with Iroh

so who will teach Aang??

maybe Roku can some how teach him

Here's my theory. Iroh will somehow get out of Ba Sing Se and find them. Afterward, he will convince them to rescue Zuko (because we all know Azula's lying). They'll agree reluctantly and get him. Iroh and Zuko (though unwillingly) will teach Aang his fourth element and Appa will be thoroughly PO'd about having to carry so much weight.

Mmm, I don't think so. I don't think Zuko's going to come back to the 'good side' 'til the end. Iroh... I have mixed feelings about him escaping. I mean, it'd be unlikely in the style of Avatar that he WOULDN'T escape, but I think Azula is too good for that.

As for Aang's Firebending teacher... I'm up for nearly anything at this point. It seems to me like it should be someone who's NOT going to become another part of the Gaang. I think Zuko fufills the fire quota* for that. (He'll come around in the end, but he won't be Aang teacher.) Perhaps someone like Pakku should teach Aang.

I don't think Jeong Jeong is coming back. I think he was just put in as a sort of... what's the word... emotional barrier for Aang against Firebending. Something to deter him from it, or to take it seriously. He was put in as a sort of tool to straighten Aang out and show him that it's serious business.

*Is it just me, or have you guys noticed there's someone of each sort of 'element' in the main cast? Aang's Air, Katara's Water, Toph's Earth, Zuko's Fire, Sokka's strength/weaponry, and Iroh's intelligence/wisdom.

We could see an appearance of Aang's friend Kuzon. We saw Bumi, though he didn't teach Aang, he gave him the advice as to how he could find his Earthbending teacher.

In "The Blue Spirit" Aang mentions he has a friend in the fire nation named Kuzon.

I think Zuko will teach him in the end. I'm just waiting for Zuko to fight Aang or something, and Aang save Zu-Zu's life...and then Zu-Zu will have to join and teach him Firebending. I KNOW IT WILL HAPPEN! X3 Aang has to save Zu-Zu, at least one more time...

i think it'll be Jeong Jeong. i mean, this is the type of show where you are almost certainly expected to see characters from earlier seasons popping up again. seriously. Jeong Jeong just disappeared with no word on what happened to him. he'll definately be in season 3 since it'll be more about the Fire Nation. and i bet that we'll see Koh in season 3 as well, since in The Siege of the North Pt. 2, he told Aang: "We'll meet again". already, there has been this example of old characters coming up again: Jet in season 2.
it would be very interesting if they ran into Jeong Jeong again, and how everything would turn out. . .i hope that in season 3 we'll see flashbacks of certain characters' lives. . .like Zhao, if the creators believed he was important enough. . .

What if Ursa teaches Aang? We never really know what happened to her, and she may come back to reveal what happened. She was most probably against the war and now she wants to save the world!

Wait, did Ursa firebend? Haha. I don't even know.

If not, it's probably going to be some new character like Toph of Season 2.

well while i personally think its goign to be iroh, theres also a possibility that the teacher will be that firebending sage from the temple ((the soltice part 2)) i noticed nobody has even consider that possibility, i mean he knows how to firebend, he's loyal to the avatar, and by his age he must be a pretty good firebender *((as it was those sages who taught the fire born avatars like roku))* so aang might free him later on the show (((also it is the most unexpected thing))
