A sigh escaped Rin as she stared across the table at the thing, because she was still having trouble seeing that kid as anything else, glaring back at her. Gold eyes were the main thing that stuck out of an otherwise pale exterior. Not that anything rally melded together, she actually stuck out against the otherwise 'normal' house. If you ignored the fact there was practically a shrine to all things dragon against one wall. Actually, perhaps the fluffy looking thing fit in well. The woman frowned. Nope, too bad temptered. That grumpy look just ruined the entire feel.

"Oi, still nah gonna smile for me?" She asked, learned forward to rest her chin on her arms, which had been laying on the kitchen table previously. "Rylie, ya won't be gettin' any breakfast till you prove you can." Not much else worked with the brat... maybe some form of blackmail would.

A light 'tsk' came from the child before the woman as she closed her eyes and glanced off, stuck up as could be. "It's not worth it." She'd paused before speaking, then offered a new grimace to the woman. With that she pushed herself back from the table before sliding off the chair onto the ground, pausing to brush her bangs back into place. It wasn't so much vanity is a touch of her slightly obsessive nature. Afterall, she was never going to look like that caretaker of her's. A quick glance back confirmed it. Not wearing anything appropriate at all. Still in her pajamas, a tank-top and short shorts, hair a complete mess, and looking like a complete slop. Completely different from the child, who had already dressed herself, brushed her hair, and fussed over making her bed. Perfection.

The thought brought a smile to her face as she made her way back toward her room, a fairly barren thing. A neatly made bed, all forms of entertainment carefully lined up or stashed away in their places. Just the way she liked it. Afterall, what other form could be right?

Rin had simply dug her fingers into the wood of the table at the child's response, then tapped at the surface a few times before getting up. "Ch- useless brat." He grumbled under her breath before snatching up the dishes and starting off to wash up. Well so be it, she'd just dump her in the house for the day. No playing around at the gym with her today, she could be alone like she seemed to like. Maybe she'd learn to be more thankful of other's if she figured out what it was like to have no one. Honestly, if she kept that up she would be. No one liked an utter sourpuss. Which fit the kid, what with that set of ears and a tail. "Y'know... I don't think I'll be mocking any parents ever again though. This is a lot harder than it seemed." She muttered as an afterthought to herself as she shoved the last wet dish onto the drying rack and headed to her room to change. Kids were a lot of trouble.
