STAR WARS! DUN, DUN, DUN DUN DUN DUUUUUUUN DUN~
Sorry. XD
I love the Classic Trilogy, but I have to admit I'm most fond of the Prequel Trilogy. Y'all can smack me now. XD But it's got young awesome Obi-Wan, and you can't beat that. *Squees shamelessly over Obi-Wan*
I love basically any of the quotes that are snarky or just plain mean. XD Like the (at least two) times the 'What an incredible smell you've discovered' line came up, or Obi-Wan's '...Good job. >:[' comment to Anakin, and many others.
My favorite characters are Obi-Wan, Anakin, and Luke. Padme and Han also join them off and on, depending on my mood. XD I'm also quite fond of Dooku.
Randomly, since this is a Star Wars thread, does anyone else have a Padawan braid? Mine is out at the moment since I need to buy some colored hair bands, but I usually have one I wrapped some colored embroidery floss around for the accomplishment bands. : D

Oh my God... I am so in LOVE with Star Wars it's not even funny.
Luke is the second guy in the history of my childhood that I ever fell in love with. My mom would roll her eyes and try to comfort my dad by saying "at least he isn't real..." mrgreen
My favorite Charas are the orginal Trio. Luke, Han, and Leia. But Ewan McGregor comes in fourth with his "blenderhead" haircut. (Inside joke, don't ask.) xp
I've never actually dressed up at any time outside of Halloween... But I LOVED the Princess Leia buns and did that occasionally when I needed to put my hair back. whee
And I'm a HUGE shipper of Luke and Vader's (short-lived) relationship... every scene between them was so emotional and strong that it drives me to tears. crying I LOVE my dad! I can kinda relate. >_>

^^
My favorite line is when Luke jumps out of the X-wing, into Leia's arms, and screams at the top of his lungs:
"Carrie!"
mrgreen

Star Wars Holiday Special ftw!
That was the first one of them I ever saw, actually. Then when I saw he rest, it was all "WTF, these are good."

MoonTree Star Wars Holiday Special ftw!

Speaking of totally weird spinoff things, anyone heard about the Robot Chicken Star Wars Special episode that's premiering on... Uh... the 17th, I think? (Or the 19th? Or something?) It's fully LucasArts supported, and George Lucas actually voices himself in it. The trailers for it look great.

*Snickers* I only got through the first one (sort attention span... Very short. XD) but I have to say my first thought was 'Hey. They've got the wrong outfits. Why are they dressed like ep IV and talking to Ewoks? neutral Where is Luke's black tunic combo? Where is Han's poncho?'
And then I thought, 'Woah. Vader has scrawny arms.'
Then, 'HEY. Leia is a better shot then than the boys; why is she hiding? DX'
That was pretty lolz, though.

YAY STAR WARS!!!!
The theme is in my head already..
I can't really say which trilogy was better.... I liked the classic trilogy when I was a little girl, and I also like the prequel trilogy...I think that the classic movies were excellently made, despite the fact that special effects weren't that good at that time. I really liked Darth Vader in the Classic movies, so I guess I have to like them better..... Oh well..

I must say, I'm surprised how many of you have admitted to liking the new trilogy. Lots of people deny it.
---
Well, I watched Star Wars IV when I was four. This lead to my being very different from all the other girls in my year at school. Okay, I got two barbies. And a barbie car... Which I then played Robot Wars with, and occasionally called it the death star. Then barbie Luke and barbie Leia had to ride on my AT-AT (which I still have, and it has a proud place on top of my bookshelf) and shoot at the 'death star'.
Yes, I was a bit of an odd one out.
----
That's my touching 'How Star Wars has influenced my life' story. I then fell madly in love with the Harry Potter series at the age of seven.
---
I missed all the new trilogy at the cinema, but me, and my 'front row on demand' watching habits, saw a trailer for 'Revenge of the Sith'. When I saw it, I thought; 'Oh my, he is gorgeous'. I then watched it, and found out that it was Anakin. I now own all six films on DVD, and watch them quite a lot.
