i think that originally there were people and then for some reason we were going to be wiped out so one party came up with an advanced form of brainwave thing that aloud people to live without there bodies and live forever then another party tried to come up with a high bread human that could withstand the problem and they failed, and failed, and failed again, creating what we know today as "animals" and finally creating us (i think that originally we looked completely different and had a higher brain abilities such as moving things with our minds, being able to read some thoughts, and the ability to peek in to time (past and future) for shot intervals) so when the rest of humanity was wiped out some of the people with out bodies got cocky and portrayed themselves as gods to us and with the things they can do we believed them and worship them it explains it

Oh, I don't have an opinion when it comes to things like this. Haha, people will only start hating you if you say either evolutionism or creatism. Why does it matter?

x-SteelRose-x How the hell does creationism disprove God? Is your faith so weak that when someone says a little detail in the Bible is wrong, you no longer believe in God? The Bible is not a science book, and the person who physically wrote down the Bible was a dude who had no clue how the world was made except that God made it. Evolution is just how God made everything. To me, the bible is just a bunch of bed time story's to keep children of that time in their bed. Its nothing to me. I've read it a few times. It just seems like one giant joke. This is 2007. Religion dosen't matter as much as it did 10 years ago.

Hitara the Brave This is 2007. Religion dosen't matter as much as it did 10 years ago. Too each his own... stare Excuses and phrases like that have been said many times. One example was people's claim to the age of reason. People believed we did not need religion nor did it matter much as it would during the middle ages. However. Isn't it odd that the mayflower pilgrims moved to the americas for spiritual freedom and started the colonization of america? nex religious group was the quakers to Penn's Sylvania (latin for wooden land). Then came the Political prisoners to the lower end of the 13 colonies. It would be later that they would forge a new country and government. They believed in freedom and most of their belief was inspired by the bible. In fact even today the Bible is used to swear political members into government. Im not tearing your view apart, but merely pointing out that the bible is not a joke even to the government. It is also the key research book for archeologists. The lost city of Ur was found thanks to the bible. and many Historic (not biblical) scholars are suprised by its historic accuracy despite it's credit to God.

shadowmartyn Okay i beleive god created the earth in seven days as the bible says. I do beleive in elvoloin to some sort but not that we evolved from monkeys... because if we did there would be no monkeys or apes around. But scientificly there is evolution but it's adaption, where one chages over a period to adapt because GOD GAVE those ANIMALS the ability to so. WE DON'T have to because we where born with intelligence and we solve problems because GOD GAVE US the ability to. God knows all and the word SCIENCE comes from the the latin word SCIENCIA which means KNOWLAGE. So there for GOD MADE science, which is problem sovling. God is god... he is above all things and the maker of all things, God is the king of kings. You shall fear god for god is your creator and he loves you no matter what you do or think... sure he is a loving but he doesn't send you to hell, you send yourself there from your selfish choices of accepting that Jesus the son of GOD died for your sins and that he forgives you of what you have done. And Kaname423 thank you, for being simple minded and that you are infact behind the truth. I leave for a couple of weeks and get told off. How nice of you all. I'm not simple minded, but since you pissed me off, I'm going to do the same. The Bible is a crock of poo. (not my word choice, but I guess I'll use it since I don't want to be too vulgar.) I'm not trying putting to put everyone down by this, but how can you follow a book that sounds like it was written by stoners? A virgin conceiving? That's not even physically possible, due to the fact that if indeed she was a virgin, no semen would even get to the egg in the first place, not only that, but what about the hymen? I know it's not that big of a deal, but still, it only makes the birth that much more difficult. And, personally, the "Virgin" Mary was just saying it so her husband wouldn't beat her, at least that's what I think. The world and culture was alot different back then, so it's hard to believe that Joseph would buy it. And it's hard to believe that anything would have the power to create the entire world and all it's beings in seven days, six if you don't include the day of resting. And adaption is evolution, technically. If you evolve you're changing, kind of like mutating, so pretty much that bunks your theory on that. And what the hell are you saying, "we don't have to." Everyone adapted. Why do we have so many different skin tones, and why do some people have darker or more hair than others, God wasn't just making a fashion statement. God didn't give us the power to think, we evolved that way because as a species, it would have been better for us to do it. And in your little speech there, you sound really preachy and I would like it if you backed off. Why would you think that your God is the only God if there are 20 million different Gods and Goddesses in the world that everyone believes? You don't even have proof that God exsisted. At least evolution has bones, fossils, and carbon dating to proove things for us. How do you explain extinction? God messed up so he decided to erase it? Ctrl + Alt + Delete? Go ahead, try to tear me apart. It's not like I haven't tried to proove my point before. I have a very flexible mind, but Creationism just doesn't sit with me. A lot of flaws in the theory, more so than evolutionism. And insults don't help my mood.

hmmm I dont really have a belief...more like many many theories, each more rediculous than the last. My favorite is that there is a god, only not so much floaty on a cloud god, more like, a scientific omnipotent being in charge of a race, and he wanted to see who was worthy to be in his society, so he plugged us all into the matrix for the test of life and if we do good, when we die, we are actually just unplugged from the pods and we're actually really young and all the scientific knowlege and eternal life will be given to us and we will have a place in the ultimate society...and when the bad people are unplugged they become serfs and knowlege isnt given to them and they serve us. Its easier for me to believe that gods just a being of higher intelligence. I dont think if he made the world it was just "by magic and because he said so", I think theres some super advanced scientific things going on in there. my other theory is god set things in motion for the earth knowing where they would go, and let us evolve and stayed out of it. Kinda like the middle school bio-sphere experiment, you set it up and see what happens.

actually on the god created the earth in seven days theory, its actually plausible. Somewhere in the bible it mentions gods time is not our own. SO taking that, he has a different concept of time, what could be 1 day to him could be a thousand years to us. which also fits into my matrix theory where we are plugged into machines and the "life-time" we experience in those machines are actually like a couple days in the gods world.

Ok, This was fun for awhile. and everyone has held themselfs very well in this topic. I'm glad to know we can talk about this stuff without fighting and taking it to far. But I would like not to push it anymore. So I'm locking this convo for now. You all may still read it. But I feel its better to stop this before a fight breaks out over it.
