a mock GD would be a horrible idea... but one worthy of trying out. because someone will always take offense to something and then it gets out of control real fast.
another forum i used to frequent went the same way with a jokes thread. there was a set guide to abide by and everyone got along just fine (a racially charged joke thread. basically who can tell the best joke.)
the some personally attacked another member and it became a racial mudsliging fest (and i remember tracking the times ont he post. it happened all within less than 24 hours.) it was crazy.
