noxlilyxonxmyxgrave Wen you march a parade, do you march in front or behind the band? (We march in front). Front: "Face it, Guard is always front and center!" Back: "We save the best for last" or "Thanks to the band for warming the crowd for Guard". That is so awsome. in my band it is nothing like that the only ones that look at us from the time we march onto the feild and of the feild are the judges in the top box.

well our guard's slogan is 'Don't be janky' (janky meaning anything ugly, crappy, bad, not good) Our director coined it, I think from when she was in guard.

IF it's gonna hurt, leave a mark.
If colorguard was easy, it would be called cheerleading.
Ya know something? Guard is like coffee- it's great as long as it's not too hot or too cold

My favorite quotes that guards use are the inside jokes or ones you wouldn't find on the internet.
This past Marching Band season our slogan on our shirts said "Keep it Cute" because it's something our instructors ALLWAYS say.

Wow, I recognized a lot of those. Here are some of ours:
Spin well, don't suck. (A modified version of the: play well, don't suck; used by the band).
Let's kick some major mortal a**. (From my junior show, Midnight in Transylvania. That show = heart )

Our Director of the band is Mr. Kaiser so we tie him into our Slogans. So maybe put ur instructor in in some how. We march in the Front at first then go to the back of the band.
If we hit the band they got Kaiser to protect them.
Special K (like the cereal)..dont know where that one came from
Bottom of the Twamps (its a drumline thing.)

Marching Band without Colorguard is nothing,
Colorguard without Marching Band is Winter Guard.
