Name: Farua (Far-oo-ah) Silthea (Sil-thee-ah), most people call her Far for short
Do you intend to try and impress: Yes
Age: 17
Sex: Female
Height: 5'5"
Craft: Harper
Rank: Apprentice

Family: Juna, her younger brother; Marze (Mar-zee), her older sister; and Hathes (Hathe-us), her father, a Master Harper. Her mother is quite non-existant; the only thing any of them know is that she is a Journywoman of some sort.
Pets: A gray cat by the name of Xeniane (Zen-ian-e)

Description: Farua is on the shortish-average height for her age, but most people wouldn't know it. She almost always leaves her short red hair down, as it isn't long enough to get in her way. The girl wears a simple tunic and britches, not wanting to get overly dressed up all the time. She wears a necklace that has a pendant of some long forgotten Earth animal on it. It has been passed down from generation to generation through the second born child. No one knows exactly what the creature is.

Personality: Far is very grown up for her age. You wouldn't know her age by looking at her, since she's short, but if you heard her speak, you'd know exactly how old she was. The nickname "Far" was given to her by Juna when he told her he could hear her yelling a league away. That wasn't quite true, but the name stuck. Far is outspoken and rarely likes to be told to shush or to be quiet. However, she rarely will get seriously angry and will only show her displeasure with someone by poking them repeatedly. Otherwise she is a well manored young woman and speaks with respect and formallity.

History: Farua doesn't remember a whole lot about her really young childhood. So much happened since then that she can not remember anymore. Her family, her mother included, moved to Rias Hold when her father was finishing his Journeymanship. She was about 5 at the time. A few turns later, Juna was born and her mother mysteriously left. Far has been trying to find where she is, but alas, she can not. Her mother was much like herself, except that she had bright green eyes, whereas Far has brown.

A few more turns later, at the age of 8, Far began her apprenticeship under her father. Her sister and brother both chose harper as their craft as well. Family tradition, it seems, caught on. Far's family is a family of Harpers. Only a very few are other craftsmen, and this usually came about through parential nudging that was not of Silthea blood. Point in case is her mother.

Far grew up around the dragons, finding time to sit at her window and play her flute-pipe for them. She came about Xeniane this way, just playing her flupe, as she calls it, one day. The cat came once and she made the mistake of giving him food. The thing won't leave her alone now!

Far plays a harp as well as her flute, but prefers her wind instrument. Her father has been teaching her all she needs to know to be a harper, but the prospect of a dragon of her own is heavy in Far's mind. She is determinded be impressed by one, no matter what. At the same time, however, she does not want the responciblility of destroying Threadfall. Far may never decide whether she wants to be impressed; it may just come down to an impulse decision.

Special: Far has quite good ears, being a Harper and all, and can hear things even her father can not. Most of the time she can't pin-point it, though, and ends up going in the wrong direction of the sound!
