I am a Homosexual male, I am curious as to some peoples opinions on, why god would make me a Homosexual and judge me for it. Granted I don't think he would, but in the Bible it says it is an abomination. Reason being why I do NOT think god would judge me for this is because I never at any point in my life chose to be Homosexual. even as a child I had crushes on boys, not even one was on a girl. Then at about the age of 12 I realized my guy friends liked girls and I liked boys. People say it's a choice, but if it where a choice I would not have chosen to be a minority. I would not have chosen to be ridiculed and hated. I would have chosen to live a normal life. Don't get me wrong I couldn't be happyer with my life. I am merely saying If it's not a choice, how could he judge, after all he made me this way. As far as promiscuality I could understand that being looked at as a sin, because even if you are heterosexual, it is still unhealthy. Any way let me know and thank you for your time. -Fox-

Honestly, I think you can't believe everything in the bible, I mean if you read it it is full of contradictions.

God did not write the Bible, humans did. They interpreted the way they thought God wanted them to live. The way to give honor to God has changed over the centuries, as humans have evolved. Do you see any anti- homosexual material in the New Testament? No, because God used Jesus to teach us how to live our lives.

Exactly, as I have told many people. How can you call it the holy bible if it was not written by god himself? And since it was written by man, and we have free will, then they could have changed according to how they wanted. then people say, "Yes, but it was inspired by the divine." Thats great, but it was still written by man. Also as far as the contradictions, indeed. For example: if we have free will, then how is god all knowing? And how does he know everything that will happen to us? -Fox-

Well, I don't believe the Bible was written by God. I believe th Bible was written on how to obey God and examples of how you should or should not behave are included. But since everyone has different perspectives, everyone has a different viewpointof how to obey God, and they are all included in the Bible.

God knows what your decision will be, because humans are predictable.

You also have to remember, not only was it written by humans, but it also was written thousands of years ago. The bible also says that a father may sell his daughter into slavery, let's face it that one isn't around any more. The way I see it, as long as your happy, somehow I don't think God really cares who it's with as long as he sees you're a good person.

Also, Christianity is not the only religon that worship's God, Judaism and Islam both worship Hiim, they just stress different ways to worship and obey God.

Well, to be honest. I believe that as long as you follow the ten commandments; you are doing just fine. And the ten commandments say nothing about homosexuality. Although that is just my opinion. I do not believe the bible was written by god. And yes it was written with the principals of how to obey god. but you said all of the points of viewe on how to obey god where included. No, they where not. There are many points of view not listed i am sure. After all you consider it was written thousands of years ago. -fox-

Might I come in and step on everyone's toes here, and point out that everyone's arguments up to this point have been made under the assumption that God exists?

Human codes of morality have been in existence much longer than any Judeo-Christian belief, and in most eastern civilizations, homosexuality is accepted or even embraced. Mankind need to pull it's head out of it's collective butt and realize that there are certain things that are entirely natural, and should not be shameful, as it is the result of nothing more than our genetics, and the environment created by modern society.

That's why I really don't believe in the bible at all.^ God does nat hate homosexuals. God doesn't hate anyone. Don't ever think that being gay is wrong. You love who you love...
