I got inspired by Spider. *tips hat to him* I'll let Kin decide where to put this in regards to his Gatorworks. ninja

The Hare Queen sullenly looked out her window. She had been neglecting her subjects lately. As with all things, her short attention span and her difficult to harness inspiration had left things relatively quiet for her subjects who rather preferred it that way. However, a few.... bad omens which happened to her had put her in a fix. There was an odd feel in the air. One that foretold of a return. And that the Symbiote had actually returned some stuff didn't help any. It was time and she knew it. Time to try and minimize the fallout and protect as many as she could once again.
A throat clearing drew her attention to the attendant in front of her. "Your majesty," she said in a respectful tone, "the sacrifice has arrived."
The Hare Queen leaned to the side to see a grey hare male, his white hare wife and their 32nd and most beautiful daughter, all bowing on the floor. The attendant moved to the side. The grey hare husband raised his head nervously only to meet the Queen's gaze, meep quickly, and lower his head again. "Y-your majesty... we... we present our daughter..." he stammered out. The Queen nodded, "You've done well. You and your wife may leave. May this please the Gator and we will all prosper." At which the husband rose and helped his quietly sobbing wife to her feet and out the door.
"Come, my child. Do not fear. You shall be treated as a princess and will hold a place of honor in your people's hearts for your great sacrifice. Rise and join me," the Hare Queen said in a regal voice. The young hare maiden, whose fur was of the purest white, rose and stood before the Queen.
The Queen then stood, reached behind herself, pulled out a golden tape measure, and began quickly and efficiently taking the measurements of the girl before her. A sketchbook appeared from apparently nothing and the Queen began sketching. Orders were shouted, blue bolts of fabric and yards of gold trim were brought before her. Trays of the finest gold earrings, necklaces, and bracelets floated past on the backs of hare servants as the maiden was whisked off to be bathed and groomed.
Yes... the cycle had begun once again in anticipation of His arrival. Although there is the sadness of loss, there is also the joy in knowing your sacrifice will keep those you love safe. There cannot be pleasure without pain. There cannot be joy without sadness. Thanks be to Gator for teaching us this and may we all prosper.
