Hello girls!
Do you use the pillow test? this is where you see something you love, but aren't quite sure of it. so, you wait a night or two to get it and if you're still thinking about it, it's okay to buy it, but if not, you don't. I think it's a great way not to waste money and make sure you acutally use what you buy.
anyone use this method?
if not, will you try it?
I used it on a metamorphose sailor hoodie and I've decided I want it now. as soon as I get the money from selling a dress... biggrin

Yes, doesn't everybody? I'm still not sure about ordering from bttsb though, as what if it doesn't suit me? What shall I do then? I must use the pillow test agian tonight.

I do the pillow test then some since money is tight right now mad it sucks when no one buys your awesome stuff. But when I gots some money I dont even think about it :'D then I'm sorta like 'whoa wtf did I just buy?!'

I use the pillow test to such an extent that whatever I want is sold out.
I AM THE THRIFTY SHOPPER. (Or at least I was until I got into lolita...)

That's actually very smart. Unfourtunatly, sometimes when I decide i'd like to purchase it, I don't get back in time and it's gone. u.u So usually I just see it, fall in love and buy it. heart

Well, I don't have a "method" of when I deliberate, though I do ... sit and deliberate. A lot. Generally, if I'm thinking about it a lot for more than a few days, I'll buy it. I'm trying to avoid impulse buying so that I can actually afford a few nice pieces right now, so there's been a lot more debate of "should I...? Should I wait...? Will it still be there if I want to go for it?" going on in my head. =/

I do sometimes, but not as often as I should.
I shop at a lot of thrift stores and vintage shops, so sometimes, if don't buy what I found right away, it's gone the next day.
....Plus I'm just really bad at not buying stuff. sweatdrop

I always make sure i'm getting exactly what i want for the price i want =) if i find something i really want i always check a couple online shops first see who offers the best prices and styles. so i guess you could say that i use the pillow test ^_^
