It matters not whether or not English is your first language. If you're going to argue with it, you should be proficient in it.
Those in cage acts--which I've never heard of nor seen--are not actually encaged, as I said before.
In your original posts that I replied to, you said nothing of consumption; you spoke only of numbers. You didn't mention consumption until your post before your most recent post.
What does it matter how many people there are? What matters is the amount of consumption. No one ever argued that people didn't consume the most. And, it is the general thought of the legitimate scientific community that it is a problem. That being such, I really don't see what you're attempting to argue.
You've changed the grounds repeatedly. If you want to make an argument, make an argument.
I really have nothing further to say within this discussion.

I added some edits to my post. Probably while you were posting that message.
I'm plenty proficient in it. What does it matter anyway? Watch out Russia, I'll go there and have an IQ or zero.
- Edited about cage acts. - And before you say anything, it was before you posted. Anyway, had you read all the replies to this thread atleast 2 people mentioned that they agreed with me on the cage acts. It only seems to be you, who can't seem to read.
Once again, either way. Meaning that it doesn't matter if there were a cazillion million billions of trillions of whatevery other "illions" there are or that animal. Humans still consume more. (why is that such a dense concept?) I know I didn't speak of consumption before my last post, I wasn't changing my grounds, I was saying even if there are more...what is the use? I could spell it out for you and you still wouldn't understand. All you seem to be doing is taking what I'm saying and pulling something completely different out of it.
I'm not attempting to argue that humans don't consume the most. I'm argueing that you have no idea what the phrase "either way" means.
Well, good, bye. Maybe I can have a serious debate with someone who isn't as reading impaired as you. Look there, I can do it too. Isn't that just special. stare

I think humans are undoubtedly steered toward hypocrisy. Opinions change, clash, and are revised.
And it is cliched to say, but some of it comes from our parents and controlling factors of what we are taught. And from future medae we are somewhat desensitized to violence or horrific happenings. Now, this isn't horrific but - don't most children to teenagers (and even adults) laugh when they see someone fall or get hurt? Where does that stem from?! But if the one who is laughing gets hurt, s/he wants people to help them.
Seeing a cow ripped to shreds would make me cry and question why the restaraunt is next to a cow killing plant. I'd tell people not to eat there.
I would also question why a woman killed a pregnant cat, is she insane? I know insanity cannot be an excuse for a completely sane person, but if the woman was truly insane we cannot hold her against it. (Or maybe that's just the mind set of America these days.) But I also have odd standings on abortion.
I never saw a freak show before, and I don't even know if they exist anymore but that was a while ago. And people believed anyone below perfect could be treated harshly, that's kinda' still in effect but I don't see caged people around. I can say with truth that most zoos are clean and animals are taken care of properly.
Your comparisons are kinda' off.

Well, as for the cow, it was the moment of SEEING one get grinded. You don't [And not supposed to] think about things like that while eating, do you? [Well, I do. twisted ]
As for the abortions, I didn't get the example. But, seeing one control another's life [Much less a baby] sickens me. Unless, of course, they know the baby will live a horrid life. Then, you're just stuck in no mans land.
Animals in the zoo? Different people have come up with many a same conclusion for this one. The answer is quite simple really. Animals, as I assume, are kept fed and cared for. To display a living person, however, beyond their own will, is not okay. As for people thinking it's cruel, tell that to the person in the cage. Heck, if you think it's so cruel, why not try becoming that person's friend? Ask him if they mind people laughing, making fun of, or even being AMAZED or ADORED at.
I rest my case. sweatdrop I hate typing for long periods of time....kind of. pirate
