You can't finish what you never started. You first state that you'll leave the thread alone out of respect for Abbi, but continue to lurk it (piping in only to add your measly two-cents in the form of underhanded comments).
You never started anything, nor did you finish it. You half-assed it, Shovel. If you're going to be an a**, then the least you can do is go all the way. It's a fine art, and I'm glad that you're trying so hard to follow an example (mine, maybe?), but in the end, you're going to have to do a whole lot more than language critiquing in order to gain the coveted title of "a*****e".
Right now you're just a threadkiller, and a sour one at that. Hot s**t? Cold turds? *shrug*
