Okay, so this is a really silly idea, I know. Anyway, I just have this idea in my head, for a fanfiction I will not write until I have gone over some other works of mine from other sites.
So heres the idea:
It'll be a crossover between Harry Potter and Buffy The Vampire Slayer.
The main characters will be Harry Potter, and Dawn Summers.
Now, I have lined up Harry and Buffy's time line and it shows that Harry and Buffy are about the same age. Actually, Buffy is currently 27 years old, and Harry is 28 years. Dawn would be 22 but I think that maybe, her age should be lowered a bit. So lets make her around 14. Buffy's age would remain the same, it'll just change perspectives a bit.
I still havent decided wether the event of Glory has happened yet, or if it will happen while Harry stays there. If so, then I may lower the ages of Buffy and Harry down a little more. Or just change the time line all together.
Anyway, the overall plot is that Harry has become an Auror and has been sent by the ministry of magic to protect the "Key", who, they have found by a tracking spell has been incrorprated into Dawn Summers.
and that is how far I've gotten into planning. You have no idea how much research I did just to work these things out. XD

I think you should just go for it. If someone comes and ridicules your idea, they're just rude.
Write as much as you can as often as you can. Only that way can you grow. ninja

I would so read that! if someone thinks it's silly, or it just doesn't mix, oh well! To tell you the truth, I've done far worse... I'm an InuYasha fanatic, along with a Harry Potter fanatic, and I've written crossovers between those two, which really don't mix at all, but i've done it several times.
I think the worst I've ever done is I put Kikyo in Slytherin... it was rather funny...
If you have begun this or do begin it, please please please give me the link! I love the idea!

I wouldn't read it...but only because I have no clue about anything in the Buffy Universe except that the Vampires Contradict themselves

Hmmm...I love vampires, but I never watched Buffy, so I wouldn't know what you were writing about. I'm really bad, I love the Naruto and Harry Potter crossovers...thats really bad, since they contradict each other but anyways. You should write what you want. wink

You're no worse than me... actually I'm probably worse, at least Naruto and Harry Potter take place in the same basic time zone... like I said, I do stuff with InuYasha and Harry Potter, and InuYasha takes place in Feudal Japan five-hundred years ago... *snicker*
