"Ugh." Whined Cronus as he stacked piles and piles of photos on top of his desk. Cronus Landon is a photographer for a fashion magazine. He was hired a few weeks back, having very little experience. The magazine was in dire need of a photographer so they took in Cronus. He was surprised that they called him back since even he hated his own interview.

"I still wonder why they chose me. It's not like I'm any good at this...But I guess this could open many doors for me." The photographer said to himself as he sorted through the photographs that he took.

After looking through them all he released a large sigh and exclaimed, "There's no hope for me! There's no way in the world that I can get this magazine finished...Especially with these photos. I'm just an amateur, what do they expect from me?!"

Time slowly passed by as Cronus did his best getting help from other co-workers, asking for advice, which none had given him. It was time to leave and he took his briefcase and camera, which was now held by his neck. "Maybe I'll get some inspiration on the way..."

Cronus flew through the doors and took in the fresh air, noticing a sweet aroma filling the area around him. "Mmm..." he said, looking around to see where the scent was coming from. He quickly glanced around him, and didn't notice anything that would be creating this delicious smell. But just when he was about to give up, he noticed a small building atop a hill. It looked very warm and Cronus just knew that was the bakery.

He jumped in his small car and drove up to where the bakery was. When he was there, he parked his car in the small driveway and just knew that he was at the right place. He opened the doors, ringing a small bell, and took in the smell. "Ahhh.." he said, basking in the smell. He glanced around, searching for anyone, but it was quiet. "Hello?" he yelled. "Is anyone here?"

No one answered. "I guess it was too good to be true...Nothing good ever happens to me..." he said melancholily. Just as he turned his back to the small amounts of baked goods a man's voice perked up.

"Oh! Hello!" Cronus quickly turned around to find a man smiling at him.
"Hi there! I just came in to buy some baked goods. I didn't know that anyone was here so I was about to leave."

"Oh, sorry about that! I was just doing some things in the back. May I help you?" The man asked. "By the way, I'm Audley Nachtmann."
"I'm Cronus Landon. I just wanted to buy some things...The smell attracted me here." he said with a smile.
"Did you want to buy anything?"
"Yes! I would love to. What do you have?" Cronus questioned.
"Well...I can make anything you want! Have anything in mind?"
"No not really...Well...Maybe some white chocolate. That usually calms me down when I'm stressed."
"Oh? Is something wrong?" Audley said with a little spark of interest.
"Well I got this new job...As a fashion photographer and I'm actually not good at taking pictures at all and there's a deadline I need to meet soon and I have no idea how I'm going to get it all done." Cronus continued on, realizing he was rambling. "Oh wow I'm sorry! I didn't mean to rant."
"No worries! I think I know what I can do to make you feel better! Do you mind waiting for a little bit?"
"Not at all!" Cronus said as he laid his briefcase on the counter. He walked to where the chairs were and leaned back. "Ahh.." he said, now relaxed.

Moments passed and Audley soon came out. He had a small tray in his hands, holding a small white chocolate cake, decorated with roses. "I think this will do the trick...In more than one way." He said with a sly smile. Cronus had a questioning expression as he took the cake. He didn't know what Audley meant by that, but when he took a bite, all his worries and questions quickly disappeared.

"Wow...This is delicious...I've never had something this good in a very long time. How did you make it?"
"That's a secret." he said with a wink.

It wasn't long until Cronus was done with his cake. The plate was sparkling clean, nothing was left, but the roses. But seeing those roses gave him a sudden spark of inspiration.

"Oh wow!!" he exclaimed as he started to jot down notes on his hand. "Audley, you gave me just what I needed!"
Audley smiled a sweet smile as he nodded to him.
"I'd better head off before I forget what I need to do! Thank you so much for the cake! It was delicious!" Just then Cronus remembered something, "Wa--Wait! How much do I pay you?" He said reaching for his wallet.
"Nahh, it's on the house!"
"Are you sure?"
"Of course!"
"Thank you so much! You've helped me so much!"
"No, thank you!"
"I'll be back soon!" Cronus promised as he grabbed his briefcase and ran to his car, music softly playing in the background.

Little did he know that the music was coming from his briefcase. Audley had slipped him a little special something that would change Cronus's life "in more than just one way."
