Brelucia, located in the Kafia System, was one of the first Core worlds discovered by the human exploration teams in the beginning of the Empire's space expansion. Colonized by humans from Dojouro, Brelucia soon became a center for clothing production due to the prevalence of cotton-like fabric and mammals with fur used to make cloth. Early after colonization, factories began appearing en masse to produce the clothing, which came well known throughout the Empire for top of the line clothing. As well as clothing production, Brelucia also became know for its food production because of the prevalence of fertile soil and livestock. Brelucia is one of the least industrialized and populated worlds in the Core.

During the insurrection led by Admiral Tahiri Veila Panjirinanu, Brelucia hid rebels against the Empress from prosecution and persecution. The war never came to Brelucia, because once the Restoration Alliance penetrated the Core, the Brelucian government flopped and a transitional government was put in place that sided with the Alliance. Sending food and military aid, Brelucia secured its place as a signature on the new Galactic Federation Charter. Brelucians continued to support the Galactic Federation through the short war against Tarsonis.
