he did a good job w/ YGO for the first season but after that he just got all weird like. He started becoming WAY too dramatic sad why couldn't he just keep his voice like the first season

KiTtEkAt omg. this thread is still here. lol, im my~shakespearean~romance. but i went back to my original account, kittekat. i like being a 3 year member. something ta brag about. blaugh i still remember when kikis were 1k...lol, im old. yeah, still dont like dan green much. rofl They were never 1k. o-o But I think that Dan Green is a good voice actor, and I think he plays a good role as both Yuugi and Yami no Yuugi. The Japanese voice acting changes around a lot. D: It's almost ridiculous. And here's a random fact: Everyone in Yuugi's group is 15-16. Seto Kaiba is the only 18-year-old who's in their school and shown actively in the show. O: The adult who plays children's card games. That's actually a little creepy. But yes, Atem/Yami no Yuugi was about 15 or 16. But Back in ancient Egypt, that wasn't actually weird for someone to die at that age. xD

Erm... Kaiba's the same age as the others. ^^;; At least in the Japanese version. I heard the dub made Kaiba older or something... but in Japan, people don't move up grades or get held back, and everyone in the same class together are also the same grade. At the beginning of the series, Yuugi and the others are Freshmen in highschool, which would put them in Sophmore year in America. Also, Japanese school years start at the beginning of April, and you have to be six to start elementary school, so that would mean that the order of oldest-to-youngest in their class would be Honda, Yuugi, Anzu, Bakura, Kaiba, Jounouchi, then Otogi. So Kaiba's actually one of the younger characters. o.o

No, Kuzuki Takahashi actually said that he was eighteen. >>; That the "class" that it showed them all together in wasn't a class, it was the equivilant to a homeroom. Or something along those lines. xD; I always thought he was fifteen or sixteen.

Really? O_o Was this an interview? Do you have a link to it. XD;; *is quite interested* That's strange though... because Japanese homerooms always have people of the same grade in them... at least from what I've researched. I think there was also a mentioning of Kaiba's age in one of the earlier volumes... *goes to dig through manga* Okay, so the manga says Kaiba and Mokuba are five years apart and that they were adopted by Gouzaburo two years after their father died, when Kaiba was ten and Mokuba was five. It said that six years later Kaiba took over Kaiba Corporation, meaning he was sixteen at the time and therefore in either the second half of his Freshmen year in high school (meaning 10th grade, around the time the manga started) or his first half of Sophmore year, judging by his birthday. It's most likely the former. But the manga doesn't say how much time passed since Kaiba took over Kaiba Corporation and the present time, so it doesn't provide support for either of our theories. However, there's also the gospel of truth (written by Takahashi Sensei), which Kokoro no Naka has some scans and translations of. It's written around the time of Battle City, and says that Kaiba is in his second year of highschool during that time (which would mean 11th grade) and would put him at around age 16-17, depending on what time of the year it is. Page one has Yuugi's and Jounouchi's profiles on it, but their profiles weren't translated. However, it is obvious that both Yuugi and Jounouchi are in the same grade as Anzu, Honda, and the others. *takes deep breath*

The voice actor for Yami is Dan Green, the same guy who plays Knuckles in Sonic X.
I just find that funny for some reason. xD;
No, seriously, I love Dan Green. He is pretty awesome.

Dan Green also does the dub voice for Tsuzuki Asato in Yami no Matsuei. =D

@Pixie: Yea, I'm not a huge fan of Yami no Yuugi's English voice, but I do think Dan Green is an awesome guy. Watching his interviews and stuff he sounds so passionate - it's great! <3
And I find it hilarious that he is Knuckles... and sorta disturbing... I've been a Sonic fan most of my life and I was used to his SA voice, so it was shocking to hear a Yuugiou voice in Sonic X.
You can also notice that Shizuka's voice actor plays Amy's voice and Anzu's plays Charmy. I think there were some others but I've forgotten at the moment.
