I hate drawing hands. Why must they be so difficult?!!
Seriously, like when you dont think..they turn out fine. But the minute you ponder how a hand would naturally flow in a pose its as if teh hand runs away.
Drew an anthropomorphic penguin pinup girl type thing. Prolly a smidge too adult to share with the community here. But I cant ink&scan-then-color til I figure out this hand.

I'm slowly getting better at drawing hands.
I agree. When you don't think, they turn out fine.

For my comics, all my people are perpetually wearing mittens because I can't be arsed. xD
For everything else, it takes way too long. Damn you, knuckles...

I can draw hands when I have one before me. But it doesn't work with my own. >< Mine only turn out good when I spend time on them: I draw the way the bones and joints would connect, then draw skin around it. I really can only draw things when I understand how they're built. xD
I usually hide hands behind the head or the body, or in pockets. works fine.

I used to find hands super hard too. D: I always had drawn them too stiff-looking.
Anthro penguin girl? OOO=

Here's the uncolored and uncleaned scan. Lots of cleavage, but no nudity.

I don't like drawing hands either, but a mirror can be handy for seeing an opposite hand pose. For example, your a left hander, can't get a good left hand pose? Look at the reflection of your right hand! It looks great. Makes wonders for me :3
But the part I find the hardest with drawing hands are the palms. I'm good with finger ripples and knuckles, but palms kill me.
And I find that the hand looks good, maybe the ring finger could be refined, but other wise thumbs up! ( no pun intended D: )

Fwahaha. I noticed the ring finger right after I inked it and erased all the pencil and was left going 'well oops.' Thank goodness for the sweet sweet lovins of computer programs.
Feet are just about as evil as hands. Notice how I oh-so-not-cleverly hid pengy-feetuses? Thats because Im lame..well, that and couldnt make my mind up about pengy feet, or humanly heels.

When I draw hands, they aren't rounded and perfect like they should be...they are pointy and look like they could stab someone. o.o But with my art style, it's sort of exceptional.
