XD I went to see it!! It was awesome!! I LOVED IT! heart 3differentsides knows what I mean. The people in our theatre, or well, the ones sitting about 5 rows above us, made it ALOT better. I give it props (for being dubbed n all) but there were also some crappy things about it (besides the voices).
For example (all cons/none pros):
~ They degraded almost all the characters and really god-modeled on Naruto himself. For example, Sasuke was just thrown aside like it was nothing. WTH MAN?!
~ There was just something about the girl that does the voice for Sakura that I just didn't like.

^^;;; I'm sorry, but I'm taking the second con out of your post, because it was incredibly rude, immature, and uncalled for. What a voice actor looks like has nothing to do with how they do their jobs, and in my opinion, it's just incredibly rude. Same with Sakura's voice actress. I've met her in person, and she is actually a really incredible person, with VA skills that are very admirable. So really... this thread should be about the movie itself, and not your personal opinions on the Voice Actors.
Also, i'm pretty sure... they can't ACTUALLY change the Naruto movie. All they do is dub it. What happened to Sasuke... happened in the Japanese version as well. It's partially why the show is called Naruto. It's about his character development.

I saw the movie yesterday too..
It was awsome, although I was really only there to make fun of it.
Good news is! I was the ONLY one that cosplayed (went as Hinata) and i got lots of pictures and hugs..
and my friends were weird and DRAGGED me up to the front of the thearter and yelled out
"This is Hinata"
Everyone waved and said Hi hinata~!
Then she said.
"Hinata is a Yaoi Fangirl" and I swear HALF the place screamed and cheered. It was funny..
Sadly there were a few people there that pronounced yaoi wrong and It bugged me.. they pronounced it as Yao .. O__O
oh and this one person had a naruto hoodie..
and it had Naruto on the back and it said
I Put the Uke is Sasuke..
I want it..

rofl. I love it!! My cousin just put together some things from her house and tried to be hinata, but it didn't really work out. It was some capris and a light blue shirt. She was supposed to be "TS Hinata" but... yea.
I tried to cosplay as Shikamaru, but you could barely tell cause the headband didn't fit around my arm cause it's weird like that. And my hair is WAY to long to be called Shika's hair. gonk
My head hurt cause my mom had to pull my hair ALOT to get it that high. It wctually still hurts.

That movie was awsome... just the people in the theater were awsome. Who knew there were that many fangirls for Sasuke in one place. It scared me gonk , after a while some of my friends and I started to boo him every time he came on it was pretty funny...
Anyways, thee movie was pretty good. Dubbed voices I'm not all that fond of, but at least it came out in theaters. I'm going to get the DVD when it comes out and listen to it in Japanese. Just to compair the voices. I know, I know, I have no life. But hey, there are worse people out there than me. sweatdrop
