So, for some odd reason and with no explination, VH1 was on my TV. All of the sudden, a full hour of Freddy Mercury came on.
He is from Zanzabar and his real last name is Bulsara....I think his first name is Ferut or something like that.
So, I did not know that, and was very amazed, unless VH1 lied to me. I wouldn't put it past VH1 to do such a thing, but yes, I was amazed.

Jah, this is correct. Moved to England with his family when he was seventeen.
VH1 does lie, though. Even more than the intertubes.

Queen is great. love it. what else can I say? Butterflyz Spirit I find the most catchy song is I WANT TO RIDE MY BICYCLE, I WANT TO RIDE MY BIIIIIKE~ U had that in my head all through my last maths lesson .____. heh, I like that bicycle-song too. xd and in "I'm Going Slightly Mad" he really sounds like he's mad. surprised I can't believe no one has praised Bohemian Rhapsody yet. eek it is awesome! heart

My fiance is a Queen addict; before him I had only ever heard a handful of their stuff - now I know pretty much all the lyrics to every song!
It's fun walking down the street together, holding hands, as he proudly displays his "QUEEN" t-shirt and long curly hair. No wonder people keep asking me if he's gay. xd
We went and saw a Queen tribute band once - that was a lot of fun. Apparently the lead singer used to work with Freddie, back in the day. He looked, sounded, and acted just like the real thing, too. They put on a very good show!

I love Queen I'm not a super awesome expert it's still like I'll hear a song of theirs and I'll be like "Oh Queen sings that?" I wish I knew all of their songs though.

Wow!!! I love Queen!! It's hard to believe some people don't know who it is...even though they hear their songs all the time. I mean..."We Will Rock You" is SO famous!!

Anyways yea...I have their song Under Pressure stuck in my head. Well really it's by Queen and David Bowie but whatever. Queen is still amazing!
