Aeronwyn Sometimes cover versions are better than the original, most of the time they're worse and sometimes they ruin the song. It's just the way it goes. I think the new Band Aid is pretty close to being in the last category, it's the chorus, it's changed. If I were a musical person I might be able to explain how but as I'm not, it's just different... the tune has changed, or something like that. It just doesn't sound the same, sort of flatter. I don't know! you forgot one thing, I think they just shout and not sing really xp

Mickolas you forgot one thing, I think they just shout and not sing really xp That's the problem. Singers nowadays have to out do each other. They have to be better than the rest... If they can't do that (which is the majority), They have to be louder, making a huge cockup of the whole affair.

Andyzee BGBW Band Aid+Rap section= gonk You mean Dizee Rascal's bit? Best part on it if you ask me, better than Chris Martin & Fran Healy's love in xp And then god awful guitar solos by Dan Hawkins & worse (more pretentious than the Darkness!) by Johnny Greenwood I just thought it was a bit random, something added so it was "wid da kidz". To be honest though, although the original was better, the original was't really that good. xp
