"Now darlin, if I admitted to that you would think I had... experience." Silva replied, smirking and heading for his dumbbells. "Toss the rope in the corner or something, You can pick it up when you need it. Though I might need to put it somewhere it won't get buried." He said, looking at the still angry looking Sonnet.
In this, he was in control. It wasn't arrogance that made him know this, although he had plenty of that. It was pure instinct. And if he wanted to keep that control he would have to appear to be unaffected. He picked up his dumbbell, his muscles rippling slightly beneath his skin as he added a bit of effort to his lifts. His toothpick was going to have to be replaced at the rate he was chewing on it.
She had just been dismissed. By a juvenile, nonetheless. A little smirk played over his lips as he waited to see how she responded to that fact.

If it bothered her, she gave no sign. Quantel kept her own smile benign as she began to twist the cord away from her wrists. Watching the movements of his muscles, then that of the toothpick as it rapidly disintegrated under the attentions of his teeth, she idly contemplated continuing this encounter, or leaving it for when she returned for the cord. Either way...
With a swing of her arm, she sent the cord sailing clear across the room, adding a touch of Levitation and just enough of her Magic Hand to ensure that it made it to the corner, seemingly bourne of her own strength. As it landed, she extended her wings, three-quarters their length, lifting herself up from the sill a scant few millimeters.
Using her skills to glide backward, she laughed softly and lifted her hand to him. Fool. You could have had so much more than the mere promise of my return... Quantel allowed the shadows to swallow her, hiding her departure from unassuming eyes.

He watched her go for a second then snorted, putting his dumbbell down and tossing the toothpick out the window.
"A woman that abuses her pets..." Sonnet softly growled from behind him, "would abuse her mate just as quickly."
"Hell, wolf. You think I don't know that?" He replied, shrugging slightly.
The various pets turned, pretending as if it had never happened, leaving Silva to think for himself.
