I'm coloring in one of my drawings and I was wondering, should I keep using the background color that's on the top half for the bottom half? A friend already suggested I should make a bit lighter with a red tone.
So, what do you think?

i like the colors.

but the lines seem a little thin.

Yeah, keep using the colors, but overlap it transparently with a gradient that'll lighten it and fade it away towards the bottom. 3nodding

actually, i like the top-heavy look the purple has over the lines... but i'm a freak, so maybe my advice is to be ignored...
