If you come in beginning of July, there's great fireworks downtown
If you come in August, there's the Slice of Shoreview. (Pretty much a fair for my city) I always go for all three days. And there's the State Fair!
And you could pretty much to Mall of America, Rosedale Mall, and Maplewood Mall during any month. ninja
And there's Harriet Island down in St. Paul below the bridge. It's a pretty view by the waters. *_* You could board on their ships or have dinner in a boat!

If you come in beginning of July, there's great fireworks downtown
If you come in August, there's the Slice of Shoreview. (Pretty much a fair for my city) I always go for all three days. And there's the State Fair!

scratch that, i can't drive. i'm not allowed to drive for a week because i stayed at a grad party past my curfew. it was worth it though, lots of fun
