Miscellanea Guild Vice Captain

Right now the guild is set to "Private" which means that people can look inside (for the BBC's sake) but not post. Lately, the vice and I have been discussing if we should change Miscellanea to a public guild allowing anyone to come in and post, but not need to be a member. This COULD allow people to see how much fun and how much gold they can get from us if they become an official member.
But we want to hear what our members think about this! Should Misc become a public guild?

I say yes...
But... questions.
A) can we ban members if they take spam to a whole new level [i had someone just post FORK in each thread he read in a guild where im crew in] B) can we have the sub-forums guild members only? like "heres a taste of what we offer, if you join"

a) We can ban members. Though, the drawback to going public is that if they are not members we cannot ban them. At least thats what I hear.
b) Unfortunately, no. There isn't a setting like that. Though we may be able to do that manually like deleting any posts by non-members, though that will be hard to enforce in the long run.

Thats what i was worried about...
I vote no now. Just that we want to have control and not have random posts. If a member likes something enough they will join. I do it all the time lol.
Well thats what i see anyways.

*Spamaphobia* I'd rather not have it public if that might happen...
