"Hmph." Boomer huffed, scuffing one paw in the dirt out of sheer boredom. His brothers, after the disastrous game of hide and seek, had disappeared, as had the power puffs, mercifully.
However, it now meant that he was left completely to his own devices. Sitting back on his haunches, he stared up at the sky, wrinkling his nose in distaste. It was a beautiful, sunny day--one of those almost-sickeningly cheerful ones that made him really want to go break things.((sorry about the short post, saii! *got sidetracked, and needs to flee for work* XD; <3))

Buttercup was wandering around aimlessly, as bored as she looked. Normally, she would have relieved herself with a game, but it wasn't like there was -anyone- to play with. Everyone had gone somewhere. But as she turned a corner.. She spotted Boomer! Tipping her head to the side, She quietly observed him for a few minutes.. She could determine that he was scribbling something in the dirt, but it looked as if he was bored to hell.
Well.. If Boomer was bored and She was bored.. They may as well be bored together. "Hey Boomer!" She yelled as she leaped with feline agility, landing beside Boomer in a few leaps. "Soo.. You look bored. What's up?" As she gestured to his.. picture. "Aren't you usually playing with your brothers?" (( No worries vash~ <3 ))

Boomer started, tail-fluff standing at attention. Oh...it was just -Buttercup-. But he was bored...innate urge to say something insulting warred with his desire to find something...ANYTHING to do. Well...at least it was Buttercup--she was almost a boy anyway, right? No playing with her hair or fiddling with stinky dolls for her! (like ANY of the powerpuffs did much of that, pshaw.)
"Usually. We do things on our own too though you know!" This last came out just a -shade- defensively. "What about you? Where's the rest of the Powder-puff squad?" he smirked, swishing his tail from side to side. Already he was feeling significantly less bored.

Amused by his comment, "Oh yeah? I didn't realize. Since you guys -are- always together.. Seriously. Someone might think that your relationship goes far beyond 'friends' you know?" She said casually, emphasizing on their relationship. "And who wouldn't be able to do things on their own? It's nothing special you know.. Unless your an incompetent person who always needs their brothers around them." She said carelessly, with a wave of her tail. ".. But than.. your not like that are you?" She said slyly, as he tipped her head to the side.
And... Powerpuff squad? How lame could you get? He couldn't have chosen a better word than squad? Beejeezurs. It sounded.. so chilidish. "Unlike boys. I don't need my own cheerleading squad to help inflate my ego." She remarked, smirking right back at Boomer.
"Besides. Why didn't you join in on the fun earlier?" As she gestured to a day back, where she had been 'conversing' with Butch and Brick.

Boomer flushed, at the implication of the boys' relationship going beyond that of 'friends', narrowing his eyes. "You'd like that, wouldn't you?" he huffed. "And of course not!" he insisted--he didn't need his brothers around all the time...they just had fun, that was all!
At her next remark, he smirked. "Oh, puh-LEASE. You girls spend way too much time patting each other on the back for me to believe that."
"And I had other things to do." he replied airily, feigning a self-important look.

"Oh sure. You know me. I'm always up for gay love." She said in a sickening sweet tone, as her eyes rolled at the thought. Disgusting. If Boomer thought she would like something like that, He would need some punches.. and Perhaps some extra hard kicks while she was at it. She wouldn't mind giving them to him as a present~ Maybe a birthday one?
But while she was contemplating the issue, Boomer's remarks caused her to raise an eyebrow.. and slightly flush at the thought. He was.. sorta right. But she could stuff on her own too!
"Oh PLEASE." As she mimicked him replying in answer to her comment of 'patting eachother's backs.' If he would deal an insult though, she would send him one right back, "We may pat eachother's back, But don't you boys do the same? Especially when you guys get into the mood of bullying someone weaker than you? It's so stupid!..." She said, a bit angry, She still remembered the time, when were bullying bubbles. "and my ego is perfectly fine. I know my limits.. Unlike a certain someone I know~" She said, emphasizing on the 'someone' part.. Although she didn't necessarily mean Boomer. But it would sound that way.
"Others things to do?" She said, her voice unbelieving. "Like what? Something thats better than playing with your brothers?" As she gave him a slightly suspicious look. "If those -other- things are so great, than name them." She said, demandingly.
