Having been left for dead was Charity.. and she'd laid there for some time after Terasu and Atae had left. Although Envy eventually found her, standing over his daughters' fallen body with a thoughtful frown on his maw. He had slung her over his back and proceeded towards what he might call home. The tree that he and Nessa had claimed as their own when she had been expecting the kits that were now grown.
With his lifeless daughter draped on his back, Envy wordlessly approached the tree, an impassive expression on his face. What he thought or felt about finding his daughter in this state, was completely hiden from view for the moment. After all, things could only go either of two ways... and he had a feeling which way it would be.
He expected someone to be around, Nessa at the very least. Gaze searching for her as he approached.

Nessa looked up as she sensed someone getting closer to the tree. Her scarf of course was in a passive state as she had been only a moment ago. She stood as she saw Envy begin approaching and stared at this sight coming toward her: Envy with one of their young, though grown, children draped across his back.
Chastity darted through the trees nearby and stopped dead in her tracks when she saw her father and her sister. "Is Charity asleep Dad?" she asked, going to a more mature form of the word daddy than when she was a kit

Coming to a stop infront of Nessa, Envy also gave his other daugher a sidelong glance at her question. What he did next should answer it more than well enough as he heaved his back and let Charity fall to the ground with a heavy thud. The femme kitsu unmoving. "You could say that" Envy then voiced, using his paw to dab at a blue spot of stuff on Charity's fur.
Sniffing at the stuff, he then licked it off his paw. Glowering a bit at the offensive taste of the stuff. He snorted and put his paw down, shifting his gaze to Nessa to judge her reaction. What with their daughter's lifeless body lying inbetween the both of them.

"Envy.... what happened to Charity....? Is she alive? Is she going to live?" Nessa asked, frowning. She walked over slowly and nudged Charity's still form with her nose, in the same step getting the scent from her daughter to attempt to find out what was wrong or what had happened.
Chastity stared. A live body didn't just thud like that nor did they stay asleep if they were dropped so unceremoniously.

"What does it look like?" Envy asked Nessa, with a roll of his shoulders. "I just found her this way." However, the homunculus had his suspicions. He knew full well that any of his offspring weren't full fledged homunculi like he was... although they shared some traits. He sat back and frowned, eyeing Charity's form for a few moments.
If she had been like him.. she would have healed by now and would be fine. However, Charity always showed a slowness to regenerate... but did so just the same. He carefully examined her, noting faint marks on her shoulder that appeared to be a healed over bite wound. Envy sneered, "Well well.. a venomous bite.. no wonder. How cheeky."
Dipping his head down, Envy pressed an ear against Charity's torso as if listening for something. Green hair draping all over rather messily.

Nessa waited for some form of life to come from her daughter's still body, her own heart pounding hard in her chest. "She should have healed... I've seen them all as kits playing roughly and healing... though not quickly they did heal. What is a bite to them?"
"I think she's just healing." Chastity said with conviction. She knew very well that she and Charity healed relatively well. "She'll wake up."

"Its the venom" Envy said simply, not feeling a need to explain as he lifted his head. Then in a rather unexpected move, Envy slammed his paw into Charity's gut.
The force resulting in a violet coughing fit. A thick, blue substance being regurgiated thanks to the punch. After a few moments of spitting it up, Charity's eyes flew wide open as she sucked in several breaths.
"Welcome back to the living!" Envy said in an all to cheery fashion, leaning over Charity's face.
Although the venom had been injected into the blood stream, as her body healed the damage... it had been siphoned into her digestive track and to her stomach where it settled uselessly. Up until the point of forced regurgitation.
This having been Charit's first experience with 'death', she groaned in a groggy fashion. Looking a bit dazed and disoriented before she finally started to become aware of her surroundings. Blinking up at her father blankly.

Nessa breathed a sigh of relief. She didn't want to see any of her young die, not ever. "You were poisoned Charity.... But your specialized healing has helped to make it a not so dangerous problem."
Chastity grinned and watched as her sister awoke from the bite. She knew it! They took far too much damage as kits to have been mortally wounded from just a stupid little bite.

That's right... a bite, venomous or not, couldn't keep Charity down. She looked to her mother, her sister, and then back to her father's smirking face. Pulling herself up and sitting, she huffed and brushed off her shoulder with a paw. "Hmph.. Terasu will pay for that."
The amused Envy sat nearest to the daughter that took the most after him. "Terasu... isn't that a friend of the pipsqueak?" he asked with a tilt of his head and a toothy grin.
Charity thought for a moment and nodded, "I think so..." and she too grinned maliciously. "I smacked around another one of his friends also. Atae was her name.. or something."

Nessa smiled and shook her head. Her kits were definitely taking after herself and Envy. Violent play, purposefully injuring others evidently. "Ah well... at least you pulled through. What an interesting self defense mechanism." she mused.
Chastity pounced upon her sister, laughing. "You've been making friends eh? I want to make some too!"

Charity huffed indignantly, using a paw to scratch behind her head. She hadn't planned to get into a fight with Terasu.. infact she'd been flirting with him somewhat. But she wasn't going to admit that she fancied the feathered male. Especially not after what he said and what he did. Hmph. She was then pounced. "Argh! Hey!" and a sway of her paw as given to her sister's muzzle. All in play of course.. but rough play.
Envy watched with his ever present smirk, before siddling up alongside Nessa and grabbing at her ear with his teeth. He then let go and leaned close, grinning toothily. "I think we should spend some quality time together. What do you think?" Ah yes... leave it to Envy. But well.. he and Nessa hadn't gotten 'close' in awhile.

Chastity yelped then laughed and grabbed at one of Charity's ears. She clamped down with her own semi sharp teeth but let go as her sister got back to the playing rough.
Nessa smirked, her scarf going down far enough to show as well as the bit of a squint to her eyes that showed she was definitely interested. "Where have you been, you sneak?" she asked, flicking the ear that had been in Envy's mouth. "We didn't have time with young."

Charity growled playfully at her sister, jumping at her in a pounce to pin her to the ground. Her green tails swaying through the air. Although they were adults... there was still youthfulness in them it seemed. Charity never did mind a good romp with her sister... and due to all the rough play that she's use to... she would easily hurt any other kitsu and not really intend to.
"Here and there" Envy rumbled in a sultry purr as he leaned close, practicly breathing down Nessa's neck. "That's true.. but they're not young anymore." His toothy grin widening at his implications.

Chastity really couldn't think of much she'd rather do than play with her sister. She was still mentally a kit, though she was growing in maturity, she still loved to play. Though as was obvious to most, but not to them, they played rather roughly and it was best they played together.
"Too true." Nessa grinned and did a bit of a flip in the air to be facing him, smirking a bit. "I think I know what you want, but you'll have to catch me first. Care for a bit of a challenge?"
