A while back, we went to Dixie Stampede with my grandparents, and while we were waiting to get into the seating area, there was stuff to look at.
As we wandered around, I found a thing explaining a program that encourages kids to read. I read what it said on this gigantic "book," and I was shocked and horrified.
"Prepaired."
So, does this mean that we are supposed to arrange marriages, like they did in medieval times? I know it was supposed to be "prepared," but I find it extremely ironic that they misspelled something on a thing for a reading program. @___@ It made me want to pull out a Sharpie or something and fix it. It bothers me.
I know it's not text-talk, but it doesn't really fit anywhere else, and I'd consider it a horror story. I shudder at the thought. . . . . .

I don't think it's unusual. You're talking about the people who have NO table manners, thought that science was witchcraft, most of the population was un-educated, and the paper was made from skins of animals......
