Hello hello.
I've been interested in Steampunk for a while now and decided to look for a guild in Gaia biggrin
I even changed my nick to fit the theme a bit more. This account used to be a mule with a really boring name but now I think it's going to be my main. lol
I like my Steampunk with a mix of fantasy in it. But I hope that's ok.
(I also want to mention that English is not my first language so I hope you will tolerate the mistakes I might make.)

iHola! My name's Caroline.
I'm interested in making comics, and while researching different genres and sub-genres of comics, I came across steampunk and fell in love with it. ^^ Lately I've been getting more and more interested in steampunk and making articles of clothing that fall in line with this style, and I found this guild through a thread up on the forums. So I joined for more info on steampunk and inspiration for future projects of mine. smile

'Ello! My real name is Elisabeth, but Almond may be easier to remember.
I'm a 20 year old American, I work at a bookstore (hallelujah!) and a hotel (ugh). Unfortunately my jobs take up almost all of my time, so I don't have a lot of hobbies to pursue as of late. I can speak Spanish, though I'm really rusty at it. I love to play my flute and piano, watch the History Channel and currently search for steampunk gear for an upcoming convention.
I've enjoyed steampunk for almost as long as I can remember. My parents have always been into science fiction and history. Big time Star Trek fans. My favorite movie as a child (and to this day) is Back To The Future III, with that awesome time machine locomotive. For a long time I didn't know what steampunk was, I only first heard the term last year at the bookstore I work at. I've been pretty pumped about it since. :3

Sup, you guys can call me Lepper or Joel, really doesn't matter.
I'm a 20 (21 on Dec 16), unemployed, and bicycle everywhere. I got plenty of time to do silly things and make lots of Lego MoCs mostly consisting around the Napoleonic or Victorian age. I play the harmonica, and consider myself a bit of a writer, though I tend to be stronger in the Dieselpunk genre rather than Steampunk.
Dieselpunk had to start at Steampunk, and I can think of no better way to draw me in than good old HG Wells and Jules Verne, the true Kings of Steampunk. I am a huge Star Wars and Doctor Who fan.

Hello, my real name is Aubrey.
I've been into Steampunk only about two years now. Before, I was into Victorian and neovictorian costuming for the longest while. I admire all aspects of Steampunk. The literature, the fashion, the people that are in it, it's all so much fun. Since December of last year, I've been apart of my local Steampunk Society. My persona is Lady A, and she is the current traveling companion wito Doctor S. Chronotis, whom is the resident Time Lord of Cowford (the original name of our town). Cowford is a town full of villains, so you can imagine that some hilarious things can happen.

Hello! I'm Dionnysia. I've held a mild interest in steampunk for several years now and I'm hoping to learn more by engaging in various discussions here. The most intriguing thing about steampunk for me are the aesthetics and the technology. The look of brass, wood, and gears is something I find very appealing.
In terms of interests, I like history and learning new languages. I also tend to read a massive amount

Oh hi!
I really could type on and on about exactly when I became absolutely fascinated with steampunk and the Victorian/Edwardian era...But that really isn't important. What is to me is the costume and the culture and that air of happy peaceful explody type discovery going on in the Steam-era.
I'm kinda a quiet crafty person that flits here and there, building up stuff and suddenly finding something shinier, to make something better... Mostly because it'll look pretty later, if I don't get distracted. Maybe... Possibly. Ooh shiny!
( In all seriousness, I'm all over the place. I'm digging all the derelict threads splattered about... must...read...everything... D : )
