Most of what I read is fantasy/romance stuff. Usually manga, since my public library has run out of books I care to read and it takes too long to order books from other libraries in the system. I read really fast because I don't have to read every single word to fully comprehend what's going on. I can read anywhere from one to twenty-five books in a single day, depending on the type and length. I can easily read an entire manga series in a few hours, but for normal novels, I can read around six 200-pg books in a day.
Some manga I highly reccomend: Meteor Methuselah [Immortal Rain] Paradise Kiss Nana Beniiro Hero [Crimson Hero] Akuma De Sourou [The Devil Does Exist] Mars Fruits Basket Priceless PHD Phantasy Degree Card Captors YuYu Hakusho Rurouni Kenshin Kimi Wa Petto [actual translation: You're My Pet. Tokyopop title: Tramps Like Us] Graviation [but only if you like shonen-ai/yaoi/BL]

I read a bit of everything. Mostly fantasy/sci fi, but usually anything that I get the notion to read at the moment. I grew up reading Stephen King and Dean Koontz. I think my mom read me Christine when I was like 5 or 6.

[heart attack] i read anything and everything that catches my eye. i don't have a certain genre that i stick to, really. Same. xd
I toss myself all over the place from historical fiction to Cosmo to Vogue to the Vogue Catalogue to GQ Mags ('gasm) to romance to classics to fantasy to science fiction (light, of course, I can't take too much sci-fi) to horror to suspense to political fiction to the Bible to mythology to my cereal box and finally to the ultimate medical dictionary...xD...shut up.
I'll read anything I want to, when I want to, however I want to.

I don't stick to a certain genre really, either. ^^; I read a lot of those teen-romance books, though. I don't really keep up with series well, besides Harry Potter and the manga I'm into. Lately I'm really into mystery and fantasies though. & The PostSecret books. <3 :9
What I really wanted to read is Lolita by Vladimir Nabokov. Mmm, it looks so interesting! When I'm older though. because my mom. hahaha -__-;.

If I like a movie and find out it was originally a book, I'll read it.
Generally I read good romance; stuff by Nicholas Sparks, really.
I've read some bad romance in my time, though... Those cheesy books you get for a dollar at a gas station - the ones with the half-naked couple sitting on some cliffs with the wind blowing? Yeah, don't read that crap.
I also read some horror - well, Stephen King. Like the bad romance, I've also read some bad horror...
I also loooove Shakespere's work. Good stuff, that. 3nodding

My taste's in books changed during the past year. I used to be really into fantasy but then I got into thrillers and old classics like Pride and Prejiduce and Atlas Shrugged. Mind Atlas Shrugged was a really really heavy duty book that I'm only still starting to comprehend.

My dad doesn't mind because he's a reader too. As long as it's a work of literary art it's all good.
Have you seen the movie Lolita? I believe it's some girl they picked after Natalie Portman turned them down x'DD GO NAT!...I want to see it. But I refuse to see 'till I have the book read.
