I'm not sure if this topic goes in here, but it still has to do to with art, so hopefully it's okay. -_-; I really buy a tablet, but I'm not sure which one to buy, whether it will last long and all that stuff. If you have a tablet, where did you get? What's the size? etc.

I have a Wacom 4x5 as well. I bought it on Amazon for about 80$. Your best bet is to look online. If you're willing to spend more and want to get a better tablet, look for a Wacom Intuos. They have more sensitivity and also can sense tilt and turn of the pen.

yeah. Wacom is the brand but that is not very helpful because they have several sifferent ones. And if it'll be used for art you'll want Intuos. It is good unless you're willing do fork over a huge chunk of dough. If so I suggest browsing through the Wacom CIntiq's o:
I do not suggest the Graphires though. They may be cheaper, but they also come with lessfeatures and do not work as well with Photoshop or other similar programs.
o: hope this helped

I have a Graphire, and it works just fine. Cheaper, too. ^^; But yeah. If you're willing to put out a good chunk of money, I'd suggest an Intuos-- they're more drawing-oriented.

Definately get a Wacom tablet. They are (one of, if not) the best brand of tablet you can get. Ideally, get an Intuos if you're going into drawing/painting/Cging. I just got a 4x5 (don't think they sell them on the site anymore though) though I'm starting to think I'm going to need a slightly bigger one. A small tablet is good for drawing general, large areas. (less hand movement required to cover a large area on the screen) A large tablet is better for drawing small details and fine little things. (though very good in general) If you're unsure about which tablet is best for you, you can take Wacom's Which Tablet is Best for You quiz. C:

Thanks everyone! ^ ^ I did the test, and it said I needed a Graphire. Now I have to force my parents to let me buy one. >_>;
