Well, I have postpartum issues myself. But they aren't about my body.

The moment that something - anything - doesn't go right, I burst into tears and automatically assume it's my fault somehow. My husband used to be able to tease me a lot, but now I can't handle it at all. If anyone mentions my side of the family, I'm defensive (right now I'm having a little problem with them) and in tears... my emotions are so exaggerated I don't know how to handle them. My body never has concerned me, and that hasn't changed.

But when I watch a sad scene in a movie, I don't even care. oO Even when it's a movie that always made me cry before.

First of all...never, ever look at celebrity moms.
I heard how they manage to get back into a size 0 straight after giving birth, they pay for a c-section and have Liposuction straight after.
Most of us can't afford to pay for something like that.

I sometimes get depressed now when I look at all my jeans and don't fit in any of them
With me it's the other way around, I seem to have gotten back to the weight I was before I got pregnant (my son is now 8 weeks old) however my body shape has totally changed this time around.
My legs seem to have gone thinner on the bottom, but then again they seem to have piled it on on top, my face has thinned out a lot, so have my arms, but my belly and backside seem to have doubled in size..*sniffles*
Plus, they say when your in your 30's it takes you longer to get rid of excess fat...it took me 2 years to get rid of my extra fat after I had my first one and that is 18 years ago when I was in my very early 20's...I don't even want to start to imagine how long it will take me this time, but I try not to think about it too much.

My son is 11 months old now, and I still have some self-esteem issues. The worst time for me was when he was much younger. Looking back, I see that my fiancée was right when he would tell me I was being silly - I had just had a baby after all.
When I was pregnant I gained 50 lbs. I have lost a lot of that now but am still around 20 lbs heavier than I would like to be. It doesn't bother me as much as it used to.
For those of you who have older kids, remember when they were little and they would just lay there? Lol. I think I've gotten into better shape just chasing my little guy around the house.

I was an emotional wreck after my son was born, and that lasted for about 6 months until I finally went to the doctor about it. My hormones were up and down all the time and I would get upset at the drop of a hat, which is normal for a new mother but those feelings weren't subsiding. I had post partum depression and am on medication for it. I'm doing much better now though. Owen keeps me pretty busy.

Ugh, I feel horrible about my appearance at times. Before I got pregnant I used to weigh 100 lbs. I wore a size 0-2. I am 4'11 by the way...

When I got pregnant I went up to 180. It was horrible. Now here I am stuck at 140. I am trying hard to get rid of it but it is going by real slow. My daughter is 6 months old now. I am hoping to get back to at least 120 or 110 by the time she is 1 year old.

The thing that bothers me the most is that I look like a zebra with my horrible stretch marks! LOL.

After my first child it took me around a year and a half before I lost everything I had piled on (and I gained around 40 pounds with my first), after 2 years I was even below the weight I was before I got pregnant and I was buzzing, with my 2nd I got stuck on some extra weight, but it didn't bother me...with my 3rd I was left over yet with more weight again and this time I don't even dare to imagine how long it will take me until I fit into my jeans again...there are way too many to throw away....rofl
Right now I manage to get into 2 of my jeans, yet I should point out that they are so stretchy that I was wearing them until I was 7 month pregnant...hahaha
Yet, it is nice to be able to fasten the button and zip above my belly again and not just below razz

i know how you feel there. I gave birth to my first on Nov 17th about 2 weeks after i went down.. My fiance has a really crazy work schedual. he is on call 24 hrs a day and is gone 10-20 hrs a day 7 days a week. so its all me with Mia, plus we have a 17 month old doberman. it dosent help that that i have really bad health issues (my daughter is healthy though, besides the battle wounds from the vacum during labor) i dont have many streach marks but the ones i have are dark and huge! since i gave birth i got alot of black heads and pimples popping up. so im fighting them. i lost some wieght i gained 30 lbs with pregnacy. but its hard to loose and i hate the way my thighs and stomach look. i get frustraited easy, and its hard to get things in order and all alone. bad thing is when my guy is home, he just wants to sleep. or play games of something.
