I'm looking to start a coven. I have been studying for years and I want to be a Wiccan High Priestess...tho, I'm not sure if even after years I am educated to do so...either way I want to be part of a coven. does anyone live in orange county, california that would be interested in starting a coven? or is in a coven maybe that I could be in? I very much would like to even just meet other wiccans..
Blessed Be, -Kat

neutral Not trying to put you down but I don't think that is a very smart idea.
Usually you need to have been in a coven for your initiation, then until you are at least a Lord/ Lady.
Then, after you have been accepted to become a High priestess do you branch out to your own coven.
It takes a lot of hard work and dedication. Not just a few years of work. If you're looking for a coven, then look.
Sorry if that dampens any moods.

I would assume you need to be a dedicant, then initiate, etc, to a (non-scammy) coven first before you even think about making your own.
I'm not wiccan, but I've been around the circles enough to know that you can't just start a legitimate coven randomly. Unless it was just you and a couple friends just practicing magic, without any formal under or overtones of WICCA... even then it'd probably just be a group to practice with..

What babyX said.
The thing though is with most 'covens' in these context's, people tend to leave when they've outgrown what they can gain from the 'coven'.
And yeah, if its Wicca-esk, then I don't think you'll encounter any real magic related problems and *self-edits-out the logical issues/negative possibilites*
So, good luck with that then and make sure friends of your have something to do with it anytime you go to meet someone online.
