Kuma/Panda and Xiaoyu almost equal? I thought Kuma is way better than in 5. Or at least better than Xiaoyu. Haven't lots of Kuma players done well in DR tournaments?

And hasn't Feng been nerfed? o_o I've lived in lie?

Feng Wei got nerfed, but he's still crazy good. He just no longer has dirt easy tech traps and brainless oki.

Xiaoyu apparently is pretty bad this go around for reasons I'm not too clear on. The bears are better than what they were in 5, but that doesn't make them better than the rest razz

Kuma/Panda has placed 1st at Evo South and 2nd at Evo East. To be honest, I don't see much in their future aside from that. You can chalk it up to the randomness of the Tekken 5 engine. DR just makes it a bit more random results wise because top players can't run to the top tiers and whore them out to beat lesser players. It's a bit more of an equal playing field this go around. The T5 series still blows, regardless. It's ridiculous how somebody can literally pick the game up and in 6mo be beating some of the best. You never saw that in T4 or TTT.

I seriously thought Xiaoyu was good. At least in T5. And people were so hyped over the new RDS 2~2,1 and its possibilities, as well as her other changes. She seemed to have the stuff upper mid tiers were made of. How horrid for my first main. At least the Japanese still think she's good.

Actually Jin=bad: Paul, Steve, from my personal experience...both bots AND people.
PostPosted: Fri Jun 22, 2007 10:56 am

Jin is mad solid. He's safe, has no problems tracking, great mids, and does solid damage.

The thing that hurts him is the he doesn't have any "OMG WTF BULLSHIT!" like other characters do.

Paul is bad until he Deathfists you in your chestplate. Again, no just panic button nonsense like some other characters.

Steve is also mad solid as well. If you get launched or CH'd, you're taking a s**t ton of damage, wall carry, and oki. He's just not blatantly stupid anymore.

Does anyone besides me think that Heihachi is slightly better than Devil Jin?
PostPosted: Tue Jun 26, 2007 7:19 am

I think Heihachi is better on wall stages while Devil Jin is better with no walls. It depends on who you talk to though.

Hmm, I think King should've scored a bit higher. His combos and damage output is pretty high up there. Though I do have to agree that his wake up game isn't anything to brag about.

i Agree more on Zaibatsu List but the only character in whihc i have to argue with is Chreddy since they are really solid play...atleast from over here in PR

Evo South + Kuma = Puerto Rico!!!
